With Murray being born and breed in Oamaru and Angela having spent alot of childhood holidays in Oamaru, we both are able to offer assistance to ensure you get the best experience out of your time here! Very agreeable stay in spacious and extremely well-equipped studio unit. We had unit which provides facilities for the disabled and there was plenty of room in the bathroom, as well as the living area.
Very courteous and obliging host. Reservation and booking on our arrival were quick and efficient in both cases , and a great welcome, down to the homemade muffins, and chocolates on the pillows.
Continental breakfasts generous, and nothing too much trouble.
Have stayed in Oamaru on numerous occasions over the years, and this motel unit was delightfully quiet - the most peaceful we have experienced. And a big plus was being able to park our
vehicle literally outside the door of the unit - so much easier for loading and unloading.

After a dire stay in a different Asure motel a few days before we were hesitant to use. However a warm welcome from the lady in charge and being shown the room changed that. Good sized room, fair price for the night. Clean, had all usual amenities, bathroom was designed for disabled so roomy. Shower bit dated but surprisingly good to use. All in all nice stay and would have stayed longer but was booked up. Freshly made home made muffins on arrival were a nice welcoming touch as well and very tasty indeed. From the outside possibly not the most inviting looking motel, right on main road which is busy but do not be fooled by looks, it really is a little gem and we would use again.

First, you're welcomed with a smile and a muffin. You're then shown to a mighty clean, functional and large room with fully equipped kitchenette. Chocolate on the pillow, of course. I'm most definitely staying here my next time in Oamaru.

New owner is lovely and very welcoming even giving us home made muffins on arrival which was a lovely surprise. Rooms, although outdated, were very comfortable and the shower was surprisingly lovely. Heater was great and bed comfortable. Clean, easy parking. Will definitely stay again if down that way.

Had a great stay here last night. Had two rooms booked. I was apprehensive when our room was by the main Road but I had a great sleep. The young guy in reception was lovely and very helpful and even gave us muffins at check in which was a lovely surprise. Will definitely recommend this place!

We were made to feel so welcome. The room was incredibly spacious and spotless. Teas, plunger coffee, hot chocolate and fresh muffins as a welcome; so personal and special. Appreciated that we could drive right up to the door and limit bag movement. The kitchenette allowed us to prepare really well for the next part of our trip. Heated and electric blankets - we had to turn them off after a short time. Out of a large selection of Motels, I suggest you just choose this one and save yourself time.

Great stay and very convenient. The owner was incredibly kind in taking the trouble to post me my charger which I left behind. Now that is service! The rooms had everything we needed for three adults and a good price. A comfy last night for our 5 night Alps to Ocean bike ride. Thanks.

Easy to find. No hassles stay. Unit clean, although mysterious stain on sheet. Friendly staff, nice basket of welcome muffins. One car park right outside unit. Overpriced for size and quality of unit though.

This is the second time I have stayed within a few months. Clean tidy quiet and spacious rooms. Very friendly hostess and loved all the little touches home baked muffins, chocolates and great bedding. Thank you so much and we will be back

From the moment of check in to the more than comfortable rooms. It is a friendly welcome and continues with muffins in a basket and chocolates on the bed. We enjoyed our stay in a quiet end unit and look forward to staying again in the future.

Hi Karen...Most motels offer a free controlled amount daily.
This place was the same. Had some difficulty logging on but was assisted by obliging friendly staff.
Zenbu system can be troublesome we find.
We enjoyed staying at Ambassador and recommend them.
