Great holiday park. We stayed on a powered site which was huge. Awesome playground for the kids. Showers were great. They kept the facilities clean. Was abit noisy on a night with road traffic and trains, but take some ear plugs and yoy will be sweet

It's a great place to stay with a good size caravan and also if you staying in the units very clean and tidy and handy to everything 10 out 10 not far from shops resturants great place all round nice owners lovely town

Our self-contained unit was like a well equipped, spacious,warm & expensive motel unit with friendly, helpful staff & happy neighbours. Reasonable daily rates & close to old precinct & Oamaru Botanical Gardens.

I stayed one night at Oamaru in shared bathroom room. Another two friends who travelled together stayed in private bathroom room. The receptionist had nicely arranged the two rooms next to each other so that we can open the door between the rooms. The facilities at site were good and well equipped. It is also located within short distance from the eateries if you plan to eat out. It has a little playground that kept the children entertained. Good for family.

Great stay here - staff were friendly & super helpful, facilities were clean and well managed and the shower was awesome. I thought it was a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. I will be back!

Generally a clean and tidy camp ground. Getting into the ablutions and kitchen was a bit of a challenge as their door code machine didn't always work as described. Don't leave going to the loo till the last minute!! Site's aren't very big - so check that out if you are wanting to put an awning up.

Hello, thanks for your review and your feedback re the door locks. Our sites are standard size. We do have some which are larger but we were very full over labour weekend so we were not always able to accommodate guests with bigger sites if they were already taken.

We stayed in the chalet which sleeps 3 in a separate bedroom and has kitchen facilities (no oven). The living area is small but adequate. Parking is right outside. The chalet was equipped with all we needed and was warm, the beds and pillows were comfortable and the bedroom spacious. The shower was good and the balcony outside was a suntrap on warm days. The park's location adjacent to the gardens and close enough to walk to town was excellent and it was very quiet. There were a children's playground, trampoline and I believe bike hire available. Staff seemed friendly but we didn't need to interact with them beyond check-in. We would stay here again if in the area. They also gave us a discount with our Aus Top 10 membership.

Sounds like you made the most of your time here by exploring the sights and going for a stroll through the beautiful public gardens. We found the accommodation very comfortable but very small with no case racks and with 2 large suitcases on the floor, it felt very congested. Everything else was clean, neat and tidy with good access to the town
