I am staying here for 22 hours between flights. The experience is almost exactly as expected. Although on arrival the motel looks older, all the furnishings in the room were new and clean including the carpet. The bathroom was also clean. The kitchen area was a bit worn. It included a toaster, microwave, kettle and a couple of sets of dishes and utensils. Washing up stuff is provided. The bed is quite comfortable. Unfortunately there was no lazy boy chair, but a small two seater sofa.
The staff were very nice and helpful and the van arrived within 15 minutes of my call to pick me up from the domestic terminal. This is a complimentary service.
Even though I am right at the top of the stairs on my room has been pretty quiet. There is a low undercurrent of traffic noise and the room sometimes shakes a bit from what I assume is trucks. I haven’t heard any planes. As it is summer, I have the air on and the windows shut, so that might have helped.
I have enjoyed my stay here and would certainly choose to stay here again.

Very handy to airport with their shuttle service punctual and very efficient. Quiet and relaxing night despite being near the airport. Our one-bedroom unit was near the office and shuttle pickup point however we did not hear other travellers moving about until daylight, when we were due to be up and about. Well-organised basic kitchenette and room facilities with much-appreciated comfortable recliner chairs. Very clean and comfortable motel room for our last NZ night stay.

Arrived at the airport at 5am after a very long flight from the UK. I rang the hotel for pick-up which duly arrived. The person that picked us up was also the person who checked us in. I asked if there was any possibility of a later check out time than the 10am advertised due to our arriving so late. I was advised to call reception at 8am as the person on duty couldn’t authorise that. I said that if I had to do that then there would be little benefit to it as I would need to be awake anyway! However, at 8am the cleaning staff actually came in to our room and woke us up. Admittedly, they swiftly left, but point being it shouldn’t have happened in the first place! Also the cleaning staff were talking very loudly outside our ground-floor room, that there was no incentive for us to request a later check-out, so we decided to cut our losses and leave. On checking out, I discussed my issues and request with the member of staff that was on duty, but all that I got was an apology, nothing else.
Bear in mind, the motel is quite a distance from the airport, with limited facilities close by if you do not have your own transport. With hindsight, I wished I’d chosen to go straight to a city centre hotel.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend.

We stayed for a night at either end of an international trip and found the motel a great place. Super handy and close 5 min drive to the airport , very clean and comfy. Could definately notice the noise from the road but it didn’t affect us too much. With the Novotel showing prices of almost $400 to stay right next to the airport this was a lot more affordable (especially when your only in the room for half a night catching an early morning flight!)

I booked the deluxe spa room. Collection from the airport was nice, quick and efficient. The check in staff are friendly and helpful. The room is nice, basical and clean. However we couldn't figure out how to use the spa, rang down to reception to be told its just a normal bath, not sure why they advertised the room as a deluxe spa room when the spa feature doesn't exist? So don't get your hopes up when it comes to using the spa feature in the bath.

Lovely large suite, everything we needed. Quite quiet although on a busy road. Staff helpful and informative. Had problems with key card but quickly resolved by reception. Great to have guests laundry on hand to do washing. Quite far from Auckland centre but bus to airport then airport bus to city or we found an Uber was much quicker and slightly cheaper.

This motel is ideal for when you need a place to stay close to the airport. It has an excellent courtesy bus service (10 to 15 min). In the international terminal you will find the hotel phones next to the airport information desk just dial 52 and tell the helpful staff you are at the airport. We stayed here the first time we were upstairs and the second downstairs. The difference between upstair rooms and down stairs rooms is the ones down stairs have a Juscuzzi bath with a shower and upstairs with just a shower. Both rooms were modern and clean and come with kitchens, table and comfortable chairs. There are two reasonably priced restaurants within 10 min walking distance.

The shuttle driver who was also the receptionist was nice and accommodating to give me an extra hour for check-out. That's why I'm giving the second star. Otherwise, the room was fine but there was a good amount of noise. The street traffic was some of it but I was woken up by someone making noise upstairs at 2:47am and on. I used earplugs and rain noises to get back to sleep. The jets in the jacuzzi didn't work (which is why I specifically picked this type of room).
Also, the maid walked in on me while mostly naked! I heard a curt knock and said "No thank you!" loudly. The door started to open and I grabbed a bed sheet while slowly sinking to the floor saying "No thank you!" loudly 2 more times and she shut the door but she saw ...she saw. :( (I didn't have a "Do not Disturb" sign to hang so I figured they knew I was on overnight stay and to clean after but nope!) Fun times had by all (me).

Overall the motor lodge was good it had many great things including the free shuttle and laundry. We first stayed in May for 2 nights and another 2 nights in June upon our return from overseas. We picked this motel for the free shuttle and free car parking. You stay 1 night and get 10 days free carparking which in theory is ideal, however upon our 2nd stay in June we went out for dinner and upon our return the car park was overflowing and we were directed to park outside the gate on the footpath against their fence(they say park at your own risk.) My advice don't move your car once you've parked it, either walk bus or taxi somewhere

Yes we did unless it has changed, free of charge up to so many days
They do no have breakfast but as others said there are a couple places within walking distance.
We stayed in 2brm suite which (on memory) had king + single/double(?) in one room where 2 of us slept, double/queen in 2nd brm where 1 slept and additional sofa(?) bed in lounge area where 4th slept. Check their website which shows the deluxe 1 bedroom as having dbl + single in the bedroom and 1 additional single on request - possibly sofa bed in the lounge area. Hope this helps.
yes , we also arrived at 1000pm, and they DID pick us up after 11pm for the 'included in rate' shuttle. pressed #52 on the telephones in the I Site at International arrivals in our case, met them outside 12 minutes later for the 10 minute ride back to hotel.
"Call them from airport for free shuttle. Great meal options close by - I ate at the Indian restaurant around the corner which was great."Read full review
