Great place for stopover to airport, comfy clean beds and room, car parking a bit tight. Stayed here to pick my daughter up very close to airport. They also run mini bus to airport. Very comfortable room .

1st ever tripadvisor review...I've heard some rators are bogus but rest assured this is fair dinkum, (yes an Aussie) My stay at Best Western BKs Pioneer Motor Lodge 23rd October - 24th October was great. I asked for early check-in 12 pm and was rewarded with that and late check out 11 am was the latest they could afford me which I was grateful for, but that worked out fine for me as I headed to Auckland international for flight to Brisbane waited hour for counter to open, with only one counter working effectively, so that was a long wait at the counter with a leisurely walk down to the departure gate, so glad it ended up being a 11 am check out ... Staff amazing helping me work the shower, yes I had trouble working the shower, allowing me to order breakfast the morning of check out, thankful and grateful I was ... The room was clean, had all the services I required, and a clean comfy bed to lay my head, thank you again to all the staff rostered on 23rd and 24th October from room 804 ... I appreciate you all and will be back…

A great accommodation to stay, comfortable and warm. Great options for ordering dinner in from close by which is really good. Lovely bed. I have stayed here before and will not hesitate in staying again. Lovely service.

The place is very close to the Auckland Airport and easily found on gps. Just your two storey regular motel. While it was clean overall, our bathroom wasn’t. I still give it a 3 star because it was likely an oversight. Outside of this, it served its purpose for a 1 night stay. I wouldn’t spent multiple days here.

Good value, location and service including transport to the airport. Very noisy refrigerator (would have turned off but we used it) and hard beds. Bathroom fan not working, some foot noise from above. Passable for the 1 night we needed.

Unfortunately it was not up to our standards. The first problem was that we could not understand the hosts. The room has an odor like old properties do. The room had large stains in the carpet as soon as you entered the room. The noise from the main road that the complex is on was so bad we did not get any sleep for our 6 hour stopover. There was a delay with the courtesy bus that resulted in us nearly missing our flight to Australia.

Staff were friendly and helpful Queen suite plus single was a great room at a great price which actually has a queen bed and two singles - perfect for a group. Clean (slightly dated) room with basic facilities but all you need. Great shuttle service from the airport with friendly van driver. Some friends heard the traffic and this affected their sleep but I had no issues. Would use again.

Overall the motor lodge was good it had many great things including the free shuttle and laundry. We first stayed in May for 2 nights and another 2 nights in June upon our return from overseas. We picked this motel for the free shuttle and free car parking. You stay 1 night and get 10 days free carparking which in theory is ideal, however upon our 2nd stay in June we went out for dinner and upon our return the car park was overflowing and we were directed to park outside the gate on the footpath against their fence(they say park at your own risk.) My advice don't move your car once you've parked it, either walk bus or taxi somewhere

I had one night in Auckland and strayed here. It was fantastic and had everything I needed. Rang from airport and the free shuttle picked me up in 10 minutes. Took it back to airport again next morning. Had a great room on 2nd floor at the end of the landing so very quiet. Car park was full so it is obviously very popular. Service was brilliant - fixed faulty TV remote and every exchange was extremely friendly. Ate a lovely Indian meal around the corner for dinner as well. Not expensive but highly recommended.
