Detailed Reviews
There was no reception, merely a text message providing the combination number for a key container at the door. At no time was any contact made with the owner or any other staff of the Motel.
Finding the place in the first instance is quite a quest, with no roadside signage. You very definitely need to know the exact street address.
Clearly a converted row of flats (units in American terminology).
The room was quite stark, very white, studio style room. My first impression was that I had walked into a hospital private wardroom. From the Key ring identifying it as belonging to an Auckland Heath organization, this may have not be far off the mark.
The room contained a large very firm, but comfortable bed, large vinyl easy chair, a coffee table and small foldaway table. It also had a small kitchenette, complete with a small, very noisy, refrigerator.
Bathroom was essentially an empty room with a toilet and shower. No shelving or cabinets upon which toiletries yours or theirs) could be placed. Complimentary shower gel and shampoo (both of good quality admittedly), merely rested on a hand bar in the showers corner.
I was also provided with a singular rough bath towel and hand towel. No face cloths.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and tidiness of this unit...it was very modern, had tea, coffee and milk and a toaster, microwave and fridge/freezer...it was perfect for what we needed. We will definitely stay there again. We had on-site parking.
It had a bus stop right outside the entrance that goes to Mangere central and a 20 metre walk (5 minutes) to a laundromat and McDonald's and petrol station where you could get some food etc.
It was close and easy for getting onto the motorways and close enough to the airport.
There is no check in facility but when we told the owner what time we were getting there..he was there to greet us.
Great value for money...we will be back.
