We arrived on a very early flight so booked a room for the night before with the intention of getting a few hours sleep before we headed off to get our rental car. Staff at the hotel run a free shuttle to and from the airport which was easy and turned We asked for a late checkout which is charged at €30 per hour after 1100 until 1600. We didn't spend long here so can't really comment on the facilities but the room was very clean and just what we needed.

We were welcomed at door by Nabi who assisted with securing an early check in and then helped take bags to room. The entire staff at Jet Park are fantastic - extremely helpful and smiley. The room was fairly basic but clean and practical. We had 2 evening meals at the in House restaurant, both evenings the meals were delicious- steak and steamed vege and the lamb shanks were the pick. The outstanding aspect of Jet Park is the staff - they are 100% focused, friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure.

These guys looked after our group of 40 Notable Tourists in exemplary fashion; despite numerous changes and alterations to the room list running up to our stay, over a period of almost 12 months. Nothing was a problem and everyone was more than happy. Special mention to Ella Law and her functions staff who organised a wonderful buffet dinner with spectacular view from the 5th floor, and catered for all our dietary needs including GF and vegan options with great efficiency.

Checkin staff very good. Room was okay apart from thick dust on all surfaces and glasses and cups dusty. It appeared that they had not moved since covid days. Attentive staff in resturant and bar. But unfortunately that was were it ended. We both ordered steak which was delivered within 5 minutes of ordering which was a little suspicious. It was cold tasteless and extremely oily and full of fat and gristle which was inedible presented like stewing steak not ribeye. Vegtables consisting of runner beans asparagus,carrot and a half picked onion with cold and crusted potato gratin of sorta, none had any taste apart from water and oil. This was a cost of $43 each. We bought the issue to the attention of the resturant staff who's english was basic who didn't seem to care.we then spoke to another member of staff about the meal he also was not bothered stating the menu is being changed next week. By this time we were over it. Thank goodness air new zealand had booked and paid for our overnight accommodation and meals. Never again to this hotel and resturant. We usually overnight at the Ibis staff there really care and get what you pay for. Considering our local bar in Invercargill called The Newfield we can get good quality steak for $23.and far superior in taste and presentation.

After a missed connection yesterday evening I had around 6 hours before I needed to check in for my next flight, I decided to book Jetpark as I have stayed here in the past and had good experiences, this time it just wasn’t. Admittedly I could probably have stayed at the airport but as I am traveling to the UK now with an additional flight I thought a shower and a nap would be worth the money. I booked Via Expedia and should have received a complementary upgrade with my gold status, instead I was given the accessible room in the wing that was obviously under fairly major renovations (see photos). Now had Expedia advised me of this I wouldn’t have booked it, had the staff advised me at check in I wouldn’t have been surprised when I walked in the wing housing my room. The receptionist checking me in was pleasant but when I arrived he wasn’t at the desk or in the office and when he turned up he asked me to wait and made a phone call. When he finally checked me in he told me how tired I looked… Yes I did, but I really didn’t need to be reminded. Usually it wouldn’t have bothered me at all but I had a really limited amount of time to sleep and when I had called for the shuttle at the airport I was told it would be with me in ten minutes, twenty something later it turned up and we were on our way, then with the hotel in sight the driver took a phone call and turned around to go back to the airport to pick up someone else…. Again not a big deal but it added an additional 18 minutes to the trip and then he wasn’t able to get through the gate and spent even more time making phone calls trying to get in. In hindsight I should have taken a cab to get the most use out of my room. As mentioned the wing I was in was under construction. There wasn’t any noise at that time of night but it was dusty there was plastic on the floors to protect the carpets and there were joinery parts waiting to be put up. The room itself was fine, clean and tidy with the exception of the milk. I was looking forward to a cup of tea and bed at this point, I opened the milk it was sour and curdled. It was well after 2300 at this point on the 4th the milk was expiring on the 5th. Admittedly it was in date but it expired during the stay and was already off. Small disappointment which could have been easily rectified if I’d called down for a new bottle, except the phone in the room didn’t work. Which meant I wasn’t going to get my 0330 wake up call either. Fine it was just a back up to my cellphone alarm and to their credit I think they tried to call my mobile. The sleep wasn’t great as I couldn’t control the temperature in the room, it was either be hot or open the window on a stormy night. The noise from the surrounding rooms was also particularly loud. Guests played music in the hall around midnight which was disturbing. There is no chain lock on the door which always makes me uncomfortable. In review, I think the price was unjustified considering the renovations. I’m incredibly frustrated at the lack of care for guests paying a premium for such a short stay and I feel short changed. If the above wouldn’t bother you then by all means the room itself is clean and tidy.

Room very clean, nice touch of note from cleaner. Lots of shower gel etc (rather than one tiny bottle that is so wasteful) comfy bed. Great selection of pillows. Quiet room. Only negative; was a biggie for me ; no hot (or warm!) Water in shower. Coffee machine also out of service in Cafe downstairs.
Very friendly and helpful staff and a seamless check in out check out.

Check in process was easy. Rooms were clean and tidy. Close to the airport. There weren't many socket outlets around the room to charge phones etc which was a bummer but not a huge deal. No good TV channels or movies to watch. Not many toiletries either such as shampoo etc just basics like soap. Walls were thin so could hear neighbours banging around. No access to windows either to open for fresh air. Staff were friendly.

There are a few sockets in the room, by the desk we have a socket and USB charger, by the bed we have sockets as well as a Wireless and USB charger on the Alarm Clock to charge phones etc. In the bathroom we do have power points under the bench. Terrible shuttle service, website says 24/7 room service is a lie, all round poor hotel, I stay in many hotels, sometimes cheaper motels, never given poor review of accommodation but this place is just not up to even a low standard. Got to say many of the staff very nice (although the guy checking me in was a shocker, I arrived from Australia at 11.30pm, asked about food, no not available, ok, I'll order room service, no there isn't any, Told him website says 24/7 room service, and very hungry, he was totally indifferent, No apology. When got to room there wasn't even any water. I went back to reception and a younger man was actually quite kind, He arranged a sandwich and some chips, and a bottle of water. A nice guy. But hotel is rubbish, never again.

I want to apologize that my own team member let us down by refusing Room Service after hours. We do offer room service and the staff in question has been spoken to about their actions and shown this review. This is not the service we strive for here at Jet Park Hotel. I am happy the new staff member managed to step up and arrange something for you after the initial problem. In regards to the shuttle we do offer a scheduled service between 4am and 10pm daily and an on demand after these hours due to smaller number arriving. We are constantly reviewing our shuttle and services to guests to see if there are any improvements that can be made. Due to the unforeseen circumstances of flights cancelled, we were directed to Jet Park Hotel. Considering the stress of a busload of tired tourists (who waited on average of 2 hours in a queue to be accommodated), after cancelled flights, I have only praise for how the staff dealt with us. The restaurant and bar kitchen were closed by that time, but there were still snacks and drinks available for those in need. The room was small, but comfortable, crispy clean sheets and lovely pillows. A good night rest after a stressful arrival in Aotearoa. Our experience was so positive that we booked ourselves in the second night of enforced Auckland stranding, waiting for available flights.

We stayed one night prior to leaving for Australia the next morning, and stored our car at Jet Park. The room was fine, clean and well equipped - plus we were upgraded to a room with two beds when we got there which was a nice surprise. However, the Sunday night buffet meal was lukewarm and some of the items were questionable especially the fish which looked old. The car storage was great, but we waited 45 MINUTES outside the international terminal for the shuttle after ringing Jet Park from Customs when we flew back into NZ. It was cold, early evening and we still had a 1.5 drive to get home. Not impressed!

We pride ourselves on the delectable meals we offer and will always have Chefs readily available for any concerns or questions you may have. With regard to our complimentary airport shuttle, we thank you for your patience. As the demand grows, we will be able to offer the shuttle to collect guests from the airport every 30 minutes again. You should be all good. Just check your confirmation email and make sure it has the parking on it. We drove up to Auckland and just walked into reception and completed a form and handed over our keys, boarded the shuttle bus and went straight off the airport. They park your car in the secure area for you.

It’s not a problem- after exiting the customs area at Auckland airport , you will see a help desk in the arrivals area- it always has staff. Tell them that you are staying at jet park , and they will give you the number to call- it’s free call and a direct line .Take the exit door next to McDonalds, and walk to the right- the shuttles for all hotels will pick up from there. The jet park shuttle comes through every 15 minutes or so,
It’s about a 10 minute drive to the hotel.hope this is helpful
