Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed one night earlier this week because we had to get an early morning flight from Auckland Airport. It was a cheap rate that was about right for the basic facilities but we wished we had spent more and stayed elsewhere.

We had a very disturbed night due to noisy guests slamming doors, speaking and laughing loudly in the early hours of the morning. One woman conducted a speaker phone conversation right outside our door at 3 a.m. and the building has very thin walls and an echo effect.

The room facilities were clean, no complaints there, but the place looks more attractive from the outside than it is as a guest. It is old, shabby and in need of an upgrade on basic bathroom facilities.

There is no dining room or breakfast on offer so we had to leave the motel at 5.30 a.m. and drive to the airport for anything to eat or drink. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all. It is just a clean room and bed for a night and if that is all you want, it isn’t too bad. However, with a little thought and some financial outlay it could be so much better. We would not stay there again but there were lots of guests the night we stayed so perhaps we should not be too harsh.

NOT for us though.

Used for 6 hours after arriving airport midnight. Arrived reception approx 1am but had to wait half hour whilst reception staff returned from picking up other guests. Very old motel with matching uncomfortable beds past their use by date. Typical airport motels taking advantage of relative monopoly. Some long term guests very abusive and loud. However, despite all this, the room was very clean and linen spotless. Recommend for stays less than a few hours, otherwise if you can safely drive, recommend stay at much better options for the money.

We only stayed one night due to a flight cancellation in Auckland. The rooms we had were large, clean and had all the necessary facilities.
The huge bonus was the airport pickup late at night on short notice due to the flight cancellation.
The beds were comfortable and the pillows were excellent. I would stay here again if I needed accommodation close to the airport

On arrival at the hotel the receptionist was extremely rude to us and had the worst attitude. He needs to be fired for the disgusting way he talks to customers. He barked orders at us and was hard to deal with. I only stayed as we had a long travel day and I was so tired. The walls are paper thin and I could hear the person in the room next door snoring half the night! There was a hole in the wall next to the bed covered in duct tape and a hole in the bench in bathroom where the basin is! See photos. I would NOT recommend this motel to anyone. Look for somewhere else to stay that has better customer service where the receptionist doesn’t belittle it’s customers and one that has been properly maintained. Don’t waste your money on this.

The room was terrible. It had two rotten corners - really rotten. There was no shelf in the shower, and a lot of different minor broken things. We tried not to open the curtains as the area outside was dirty, grass looked miserable, and a lot of rubbish around. The only good thing was that they cleaned the room each day, and also, we tried to spend there as little time as possible, because the room was yucky.

We were limited at the last minute to where we could stay in Auckland with 8 guests (5 adults & 3 kids) but then this place popped up with a 3 bedroom apartment with enough beds for all of us which cost NZ$330 which we thought wasn’t to bad for all of us until we actually got to the room.. Lets just say it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! First we seen that all the carpets and chairs were very badly stained and one spot looked like either a heavy red cordial stain or blood.. The unit was rank but it wasn’t until we noticed after the 3 kids playing on the carpet that all their feet, knees and hands were black from the filthy carpets! Dead set I don’t think this unit had ever been cleaned properly! I complained to the woman in the office and asked to speak to a manager but there was no manager available until the next morning so we left details and now that we are back in Aus, we have still got no response or even an apology for the awful nights stay. If i owned that hotel i would be absolutely appalled in its presentation and to charge $330 for that room for one night is absolutely absurd! I wouldn’t pay $50 a night for the condition it was in!

Ok motel if you’re just spending a night here before or after a flight to or from Auckland Airport. Nothing flash but suited me fine as it was only for the night before and the night of arrival back from overseas . The airport shuttle is a great asset and they will drop you at airport, and pick u up ( I landed at 1am and they picked me up after clearing customs etc so around 2am ) which is extremely handy. I would stay here again but only for travel overseas circumstances when u just want a bed for the night .
Bed was way too soft though , and other arrogant customers like to be noisy at night or when arriving from the airport so if you have a early flight & need to wake early like me ( 4am ) this is a issue .

I really don’t know where to start except for those who are looking at accommodation, keep looking and read the reviews. Sadly we were stuck at the airport after missing a connecting flight and had no alternative as every place we called were full so we ended up here. I was so tired and my phone was dead that I couldn’t check reviews before I committed. Lesson to self, check reviews.

Not sure I’ll sleep well as I’m concerned for bed bugs and just touching everything. It’s smelly, old, dirty, unkept outside and just generally horrible.

Worse motel I've ever stayed in. Room was dirty, tv didnt work. No information regarding how to contact office or any other information. No wi fi, pillows very flat no extra pillows. Very noisy with other visitors slamming doors during the night. Only 2 cups,2 glasses and 2 teaspoons. Very hard to locate room.

This place takes you back to 1960. Rooms are exceptionally tired and the bed was as soft as a sponge.
Had the minimum expected of a hotel, but walls are paper thin, doors don’t properly fit. (I was in 109 and the shaft of light that came through the door was ridiculous).
Over priced and under delivered.

Sorry our shuttle is only for airport pick up and drop off. You can take either public transport or order a taxi to Auckland city centre.
