Fairways is part of a new development just outside Kaikoura, the centre of which you can reach by car in less than 5 mins. My wife and I spent 3 nights in one of the stand alone apartments ( not a studio). This was modern, spacious and was extremely well fitted out - so much so it was like home from home. The complex is currently managed by a young couple, Andrew and Brenda, who were most helpful and friendly. I think our opinion of our accommodation can be summed up by saying that our stay at Fairways was so pleasant it was with great reluctance that we left to continue our long trip through New Zealand. Certainly the best place we have stayed out on our journey.

Great nice and tidy quiet place to go for a quick stopover or a weekend. We only booked a studio which was great as we only stayed one night on our way to Christchurch. The apartments are awesome. will get one of these next visit with the fam. Shower Pressure great, amenities nice touch too

What a treat to stay here! You will not be disappointed, we only booked a studio for three nights, luckily Deka suggested a one bedroom apartment would be better she nailed it! Warm, cosy, everything you need. Love large spa bath, washing machine and cosy bed. The units are very tidy however a lot of cobwebs inside and out around windows. Not an issue for us but a simple fix. The indoor fire is a great touch and awesome ambience in the evening. The walks around the units are gorgeous too. We do t want to leave but promise to be back with our adult kids and families. Thankyou.

Very comfortable, warm and quiet with friendly owners. Modern and spotlessly clean. A great place for our one night stopover - a few minutes drive to Kaikoura. We also stove up the hill and did a nice walk, enjoying the fabulous views. Plenty of off street parking. Easy to find.

Nice setting to relax , layout is provides allows each each unit to have your own privacy, Functionality of the apartment for short or long term stay , short distance to kaikoura township, loved it will be back again.

Spacious and nice place, very close to Kaikoura. Main bedroom has only a small wall heater which does nothing for warming the bedroom, so it is really cold. The rest is all very nice. Just sleep next to the fire outside in the living room maybe 😅

We had an apartment unit with a gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub and washer/dryer. Very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Loved the outdoor table to enjoy some food and a glass of wine. One of our top 5 in NZ! Highly recommend!

This is a modern establishment with all the amenities. However, I got stuck in a super small room off the main lounge area. The bathroom was filled with wasps because housekeeping left the bathroom window open.

We were greeted by the friendly host and shown to our apartment. The property is immaculately clean, comfortable and located close to golf course, town and beach. Off street parking available, quiet and would definitely stay again. This is a great stop on your way to or from the Picton Ferry.
