A well appointed 2 bedroom unit. Modern and clean. Even had a full ice cube tray, great for the drinks on a hot day. Wished we could have stayed two nights. Walking distance to centre of town and local park. Recommended
stayed for 1 night , clean ,friendly and generally very good . The bed was extra springy but that wasnt really a problem . I know its peak season on the coast but i thought the price was a little steep as there are nicer places on the coast for the same money
Stayed just one night, travelling up the West coast of NZ. Great place with a friendly welcome and clean, comfortable, spacious accommodation. Basic kitchen facilities and a spacious bathroom with hot shower added to the plus points. The large lounge space also featured a table and flat-screen TV with lots of channels. Easy to find and a short drive (or longish walk) into town. Great place, we'd stay again and will recommend to others.
Found this little gem a result of a recommendation from the tourist information bureau. On that subject, all of the tourist information bureau’s we have stopped at so far in New Zealand have been outstanding. This looks on the outside like a fairly standard one story motel but the rooms are large, airy, superclean, beds are comfortable, we had a two bedroom suite for the four of us and the kitchen was well-equipped and we had a fantastic seafood and pasta dish at a fraction of the price we would’ve paid going out. Very reasonably priced and will definitely stay there again
We stayed just one night here...would have liked to stay longer since we loved both the motel and Hokitika! Very clean, well-equipped rooms...we had the spa tub so even the bathroom was spacious. Not in a scenic area and a 15-minute walk to town...but very quiet. Recommended
