Frances and Brian were perfect hosts. We enjoyed learning about the west coast of New Zealand and Hokitika. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast outstanding. Their recommendation for supper was right on the money. Can’t recommend too highly.
Thank you Frances and Brian for giving me a home for some time. Your warm welcome and hospitality made this stay special. The visit of the concert in the evening will stay in my memory as well as your fabulous breakfast. I like the cosy style of your home with all this "old" stuff keeping the memory of the former times.
Frances and Bryan could teach Bed and Breakfast School. From the time they welcome you, till the last good bye, everything is perfect. We have stayed at enough B&Bs that we almost instantly know if it will be a good stay. This is one of those places. We had rented the separate cottage, and it couldn't have been nicer. Especially the bathtub, which my wife just loved. It was raining, but of course they supplied us with these giant umbrellas. Breakfast was great; everything you could possibly want. Very conveniently located; walkable to everything. Very highly recommended.
Hosts are top kind and helpful, the location is very convenient and the accomodation style is very chic and cosy . The breakfast served in the living room is delicious . We felt just like family members .Do not hesitate to book, you won't be disapointed.
Thanks to Frances and Brian this is a warm place and worth a stay! We stayed one night only, coming from Franz Josef and continued to fly to Christchurch.Try Frances version of a Egg-Benedict for breakfast. Brian helped us with the commute to the Airport, which was helpful. Teichelmann's is located in a quite side road, still all bars (there are not that many anyway), restaurants and the beach are close.
