We only wished the restaurant was open as we had heard amazing things about the steak and lamb. But like so many West Coast businesses the shortage of staff has had a dramatic affect on their ability to provide a full service.
We would gladly come again.
The view from the unit is relaxing and calming. Alpacas, cows and sheep are visible from the unit with the Tasman Sea in the distance. The sunsets were magnificent.
An onsite restaurant provides a range of dishes with generous portions.
This is high recommended high quality accommodation.

The room was very comfortable and had a beautiful outlook towards the sea. The available continental breakfast was one of the best I had while travelling in the South Island.
Glenda, the host, is lovely and welcoming. She is available to provide whatever assistance is required.
We ate at the restaurant and had a delicious meal with a beautiful outlook.
Highly recommend staying here when visiting Hokitika.
