Kia Ora, stayed here last night! on arrival was greeted, and checked in by a lovely friendly young lady. I was upgraded to a bigger room which was cosy n warm, very spotless highly recommended 10/10...
Plenty of off road parking. Lock up storage in the shed for bikes. Upstairs unit very clean, neat and tidy. even though adjacent to main road very quiet. Quick walk into town. Easy check in and check out.
Good accommodation, consistent with others in the Bella Vista group. Handy to shopping area and cheapest petrol station. Ground floor unit with parking at the door. Unlimited wifi available for guests.
Have stayed in Bella vista's in other towns. Hokitika's was disappointing. Admittedly stayed at a busy time but we had a tiny cramped room - not much bigger than a caravan. No sink so dishes had to be washed in the hand basin in the bathroom. Suitcases had to be on the floor so very little room to.move around. Only one armchair to watch tv
Looks very clean, good Rooms like every Bella Vista Motel. We stay only one Night. Its a good normal Motel, good TV. The Shower was good, no smell, we can recommend this Motel. I have to write more here, all was fine.
We stayed one night during a road trip. Stayed in compact studio wich was fine if you didn't have a large case. Bed was comfortible with electric balnkets and good sleep. Free Wifi was excellent. Everyting worked well and was very clean. Sky TV with many channels. Next to main road but we did't experence much truck noise.
This is one of those experiences that makes for great memories. The hotel was clean and comfortable, in a convenient location. But what made it memorable was the owner. I was traveling by motorcycle and mentioned my bottom was sore from all the riding, so when I checked out, the owner gave me a bath towel to use as a seat cushion! I used that towel for the rest of my trip.
I had until mid afternoon to get the bus but had to vacate the room by 10am which is rudely early. Yes, I could leave my bag in their office, but there is only so much one can do in the small tourist town for that many hours! The room is small and came with a counter for making coffee, a refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom had decent shower. It’s on the main road and no rooms in the back. Family run taking pretty good care of the place. Walk to town center is complicated and must cross the busy street which has no crosswalk.
We stayed her overnight and found the manger very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. They did however lack the little extras, like tissues and shower cap. Not many places open for dinner when we arrived.
We had 2 rooms, all well appointed. Everything you should need, I would say the rooms are a bit small. Friendly staff, beds comfortable, shower great. Hokitika is a good location and the beach is amazing. Great stop off on our journey south.
