Kia Ora! Welcome to Hokitika's newest Holiday Park & Motels. We offer a variety of self-catering and serviced accommodation options set on spacious grounds with modern, large facilities. Suitable for singles, families, groups and West Coast Wilderness Trail cyclists. We have a huge children's playground with a large jumping pillow for their enjoyment. Hokitika Kiwi Holiday Park offers Motel, Unit's and Camping accommodation. We are conveniently located just a 15-minute walk to Hokitika's town centre and beach and are a great place to base yourself for your wider West Coast holiday. We just needed a cabin for the night and was happy anywhere. But when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the newness and Cleanlines of the place. The cabin had linen, a table and chairs and an electric blanket and heater. We could park our car right outside the window and charge our bikes easily while still on back of the car. The toilets and showers were clean and each shower had a stool which is soooo handy when a lady has all her gears and doesn't want to put them on the wet floor. The kitchen was well equipped and nice and large. We were well impressed by the spaciousness of the entire site and layout. Very nice place.

Hokitika's Kiwi Holiday Park and Motels far exceeded our expectations!
We (x2 couples) stayed in a two bedroom motel unit for 3 nights and found the unit exceptionally clean and well equiped.
The Holiday Park’s facilities are kept to a very high standard and we were able to use them at no additional cost, along with storing our bikes in the large shed.
All staff were very friendly and accommodating; nothing was a problem.
An excellent stay and we highly recommend Hokitika's Kiwi Holiday Park and Motels.

We stayed in one of the motel units. This was very clean and comfortable. There was a cooking hob and a microwave. The shared kitchen facilities looked fantastic also. There is good car parking so easy to unload and load the car right by the door. Showers are hot and great water pressure. There is an excellent well-fenced children's playground there, and since the units were double-glazed the noise was not a problem. We recommend the motel units here!

We loved the park but unfortunately points were lost because of the cabin. We were put into an accessible cabin which wasn’t what we booked, meaning we no longer had a reasonable size breakfast bar or table to eat at. It probably would have been okay for a family with small children because the breakfast bar provided was tiny, but not older kids. The couch was also smaller, so there wasn’t room for all of us to sit comfortably. We asked for a table or chairs but these were not available.
The bathroom fan (wired with the lights) was very noisy, and if left on for over a minute, it meant that it stayed on for a very long time. We resorted to turning off the lights at the fuse box everytime we used it. They are aware of this issue already but it is apparently complex to fix. There also seemed to be a leak coming from the fridge as the carpet tiles were damp in front of it.
We were given an option to leave, but all accommodation in Hokitika was booked out. If we had have been told at the time of booking that we would be in this room, we would have been able to book elsewhere. We were given $50 for the inconvenience which really wasn’t much.
The facilities in the park were great though. The outside area is very well set up for kids. We would stay here again if we knew we would get the room that we booked.

Der Platz hatte alles, was man sich wünschen kann: große Stellplätze, sehr saubere und sehr viele Duschen und Toiletten, Ruhe, sehr freundlichen Service an der Rezeption und tolle Infrastruktur (Küche, Barbecue, Aufenthaltsraum, Spielzimmer mit Tischtennis und Tischfussball, Waschmaschinen und Trockner, großer Spielplatz). Ortszentrum und Strand von Hokitika sind bequem in 20 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar.
The site had everything you could wish for: large pitches, very clean and enough showers and toilets, tranquillity, very friendly service at the reception and great infrastructure (kitchen, barbeque, lounge, game room with table tennis and table football, washing machines and dryers, large playground). Town centre and beach of Hokitika can be easily reached on foot in 20 minutes. Definitely one of the most beautiful places we stayed on our trip.

A really great park to stay in. Everything so clean and new and the facilities are really first class. Very open ground areas, games/tv room and very well equipped kitchen. Laundry with a drying room behind which came in very handy as we stayed there on a day where about 150 mm of rain fell.

arrived late at night following a drive from Onuku in Akaroa to Hokitika on way to a function at Fox Glacier,
Unit 10 was a welcome site, a clean tidy and quiet restful night ready to leave early next day for the journey to Fox Glacier,
We often stay at the Kiwi Holiday Park and Motels: we are greeted by a friendly face of the Management. who seems to know what we require, no fuss.
Great to see that the popularity requires the building, of more accommodation, and how much progress has been done since we last visited and stayed there.
Unit 10 was a welcome site, a clean tidy and quiet restful night ready to leave early next day for the journey to Fox Glacier,

We stayed in our caravan over Labour Weekend and I have to say we were impressed! The showers and toilets were spotless and the powered sites were very generous in size. While we didn’t have children with us, the families that were there enjoyed the play area - there was heaps for children to play on. The cabins looked so comfortable so if you don’t have a caravan or tent, there are plenty of other superb options. We will definitely be back 😀

This has to be the best holiday park we have stayed at throughout New Zealand. We were in our motorhome so used all the facilities. It’s a new holiday park and everything is well maintained and every clean. It has the best playground for kids which is also fully fenced giving you peace of mind that your toddler won’t just run out onto the driveway plus it has a game rooms too. The cabins looked lovely not that we stayed in them. The staff are helpful and can give you recommendations for places to eat in town. It’s not right in town but you can walk I think it’s about 25mins max. I highly recommend anyone that needs a place to stay in hokitika stays here I couldn’t fault it at all.

The flat was clean and the shower was the best of our entire trip in the South Island. The loud Ikea blue was just a bit startling, throughout the park and flat, but as this is part of the branding, one ceases noticing, pretty soon.
Daily towel changes were much appreciated, especially as the one day spent there was just continuous rain.
The staff were friendly and helpful, throughout.
