We have stayed at a few Bella Vista motels but this one in Greymouth was the best.
It was spacious ,immaculately clean and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The motel had a good laundry which everything was easy to use.
The location was perfect.we highly recommend this motel and it is very well priced.
The only thing I would change is....I’d love a dish cloth, but that’s very picky .

The room was clean and owner was nice, bed comfy and the shower was dam amazing,never had pressure in a shower like it , and the info folder in room had lots if good info, but thats about all the good things.
All night we could hear the people upstairs walking around, sliding doors being opened and shut and the next room coughing during the night, so when i read all the other comments about the rooms being quiet!! Maybe there was no one else there. We wont be staying there again

Our 2 bedroom unit suited us well. Beds were comfortable and bathroom and shower was great. The cook top was very slow to heat and the hot water from the sink tap was not very hot. A better pot scrub could be handy.

When travelling to the West Coast my colleagues and I always stay at Greymouth Bellavista. The team are great, the rooms are extremely clean and well kept, the beds lovely and comfortable.
I would highly recommend Bella Vista Greymouth for anyone wanting a consistent and comfortable home away from home. Thank you.

Arrived at the motel to find a generous sized carpark. They have one designated EV charger which is handy when you have an EV. Staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable which in my opinion is the two most important things! Fell asleep easily both nights we were there, proving that the motel was quiet and bedding just right. Just what we needed.

ZERO soundproofing. This was my experience:
Ground floor dingy room with 0 view. Bella Vista means beautiful view in Spanish - hardly.
But the main thing is the NOISE! 1. I could hear the people upstairs walking around. I could hear the people in the room beside me talking. When someone took a shower at 6am it woke me up as the water pipes made a very loud noise. I couldnt sleep until midnight when the people above me stopped walking around. I woke up at 6 when neighbour took shower. Don't stay here. Owners can't do anything about it as it is structural.

Booked into the Bella vista for 2 nights. Studio unit. We think it's the first time in a Bella Vista motel company. Being a studio it was quite small but adequate for our needs. We r touring the South Island do staying in a variety of motels

We got the compact studio, it had a comfy bed, good shower and very clean and tidy, however like it's name means....it is small. Have to get any water for jug etc from bathroom and your only rubbish bin is in the bathroom as well. We would stay again but get a bigger room next time. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Best restaurant/pub in town a few hundred metres down the road.
