Stayed here recently in a two bedroom unit. The units had recently been renovated and all amenities were in good condition. Beds and sofa were comfy and we had everything we needed. Only grumble was we could hear a generator starting up and switching off all night. Maybe not a problem if you are a sound sleeper. We dined in...

We had one night in the Greymouth area on a drive down the West Coast. We had pre booked at the Paroa Hotel based on another online site. I must admit, when we first pulled in and had to check in through the bottle shop, I was concerned. However, we were immediately welcomed by staff with genuine service and began...

We didn't actually stay at the Hotel but our Air B and B hosts recommended it to us for supper. Superb food ... really enjoyed our meal and the hosts were very friendly. Would recommend this restaurant for others.

Life on the West Coast seems wonderfully idyllic. There are days when the rain doesn’t stop and sun never shines. But on the good days –...

My husband and I stayed here overnight back in November. Whilst the outside is quite unprepossessing as you drive in, the units are extremely comfortable and stylish, and were very pleasant on what was a stormy day (in more ways than one - the US election results were being finalised) outside. We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast the next...

Clean, comfy rooms with plenty of space and great wifi. Perfect if you're passing through and need a place to recharge for the night which was what we did. Close to the beach and the staff were very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night. Bernie was very welcoming and full of information about the area. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. The room was large, clean, and quite comfortable. The deck off our room was a nice addition.

A very pleasant surprise and welcome awaits at the Paroa A few miles from Greymouth but well worth the overnight stay. The room was beautiful and very well equipped and if you are hungry, there is only one place to eat. the Owner is also most welcoming
