Arrived here planning to stay just one night then head north, but as soon as I saw this place I paid two nights up front. SO clean and tidy and welcoming. Owners are fantabulous, I had just had a flat tire and a long drive and they pointed out a mechanic and gave me a phone number and address. They have tips for traveling the area with timing and everything which are great. Really nice people stay here as well, so good vibes! The price is ridiculously cheap, free fast and good running wifi and parking (which are both really actually free), includes toast and jam for breakfast and coffee and tea whenever. Short and pretty walk to Town Basin, and then town center and anything you'd need. Don't go through Whangarei without staying here! Really really great place.

I stayed at Honey B&B for one night only and I loved it. It small, cozy and has a beautiful view of the whole city. Dorothy is a great host who takes care of everything and even remembers the travellers' names. You'll find heaps of recommendations for local attractions like the waterfalls, glowworm caves or Mt Manaia. I personally loved all those places and am grateful for the travel advice. Would come back anytime <3

I go rarely on tripadvisor so i want to talk about it that one, it is because it deserve it. No more that 14-15 people, the place is perfect to meet people, talk, exchange and share places to see or to go. A breakfast and Wi-fi, peaceful, a good view on the river and the city. i do not need more.
