Detailed Reviews
Our stay at Tutukaka Holiday Park was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's a safe haven for children, providing a secure environment for them to enjoy. The 0.50 cents for a 7-minute shower was a reasonable and an eco-friendly touch, ensuring we could freshen up without breaking the bank. Overall, a delightful experience! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to escape to paradise

+1
This campsite offers a fantastic camping experience starting with beautifully maintained lawns and comfortable amenities, including clean bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, BBQ area, boat parking with a convenient boat wash and fish filleting area. The accommodating and friendly managers, Colleen and Butch together with their staff enhance the overall atmosphere. The tranquility (quiet time) is perfect for early morning fishing trips, and the campsite's welcoming ambiance makes it a great choice for a memorable family and friends camping getaway. You can relax by knowing your kids are safe playing, running and riding around the campground. We’ve been camping and also made use of the cabins here for quite a few years now. We intend to keep on camping here for years to come. #Happyplace

We have stayed here before and came back because we enjoyed being on this site. Good facilities and nice sites. We have a big caravan but had no issues. Power and water right were you need it. Really nice hosts who lead you to your site and also patrol the site regularly to make sure everyone is OK and behaving !!!!! :-)))
We will be back.

We stayed at this site on anniversary weekend, so very busy. We were asked if we would like a quiet site, but was not impressed that our site was littered with over 2 dozen cigarette butts. Kitchen was under resourced, so not enough fridge space and hot plates were not all working properly. Too many signs everywhere telling campers what they can’t do and how you must vacate by 10 am which felt very unwelcoming. Staff were not friendly towards our daughter and her partner, who joined us on our second day even though their fees had already been paid. Would not stay here again.

I feel bad for the owners of this campground the managers are doing a poor job at making people feel welcome. they are losing the owners money with there bad management. We were told at 8.30 on our first night to keep our kids quiet the campground was nearly empty we were shocked. Many other things were said throughout our 3 night stay they made us feel like kids being told to go to bed. We were a large group but thought we did well to manage the noise to be respectful of the two other campers around us but it wasn’t good enough for them and we were told to pack up and leave. Definitely would not recommend and I hope the owners find some new management before they send the place broke.

What a beautiful place to stay. We were camping at Uretiti and got caught in the storm and called around to find somewhere to stay. Hubby found this gem and what brilliant hosts. They were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. They even went out of their way to stoke the fire in the lounge as they knew we had children and we were all cold and wet. We were only meant to stay one night but decided to extend our stay another night as we loved the place so much. They have everything you need, beds are comfortable but the hosts definitely made our stay very memorable. We cannot wait to come back and stay on our next trip ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you from the Parry’s in Room 2 ☺️

Had a powered site, was able to park where we wanted. Advised the areas where is more prone to road noise. Used the kitchen facilities and watched the news for the first time on our trip. I did get caught out with the shower - i had set myself up in a stall, put the coin in to start the hot water and didn't get any in my stall but it was working in the disabled showers to had to quickly move every thing across. Water pressure was really low but I was still able to shower.

We stayed here for a night, in a cabin. We just needed a place to stay, rather than going camping.
The cabin was clean and tidy. Bedding and basic towels provided. We cooked an easy meal in the communal kitchen. There wasn’t a lot available in terms of plates, bowls etc but we made do. They have a toaster and a set of crockery and cutlery in the cabin, and a few pots and pans in the kitchen.

Butch and Colleen were extremely welcoming and accommodating hosts whom helped us out of a sticky situation on our travels. We spent 6 nights at this fabulous holiday park, all amenities were clean and tidy and the grounds were well kept. We really enjoyed the sound of the night life and made some new duck friends whom I've named each, Chuck. We go away each summer camping to new spots around New Zealand and this is one holiday park that we would definitely return to. Thank you for helping make our holiday less stressful guys, we are very grateful. 110% reccomend 😊
