Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved the central location so we could walk into town and to restaurants. Our unit was spacious and super clean. We appreciated the efficient, helpful and delightful office people. Very good information booklet. We would definitely stay here again.

Very good place to stay - clean, well maintained property and room with kitchenette, reasonably priced; comfortable and quiet, would stay here again. Parking is in front of each room, although the marked stalls seem to be a bit narrow, designed for a more average sized car (keep this in mind when arriving with a large vehicle).

Nice, neat, clean, single storey motel style rooms with parking right outside the door. Friendly lady on reception who was very informative about the area. Nice town, lots of eating and shops within walking distance although if you drove into town it was all metered parking. Thank you to one of the trip advisors who had said to request a fan for the room as no air conditioning. The fan was already in the room and did a wonderful job of keeping us cool all night on a hot stay. Spacious room, large bed, crisp sheets, for us the bed was a little on the firm side, could maybe do with a topper pad but only stayed one night. Great kitchen area although we did not use, separate loo from the shower area. Our room was 12 which was at the end of the block but people were respectful of one another and the whole area was quiet. If going for breakfast I would highly recommend Parnells (you also get 10% off when you show them your room key), which had everything from full cooked breakfasts, sweet and savoury counter goods, we had the most wonderful bacon butty there!

Third time we've stayed with these guys. On each occasion we've had some unexpected crisis that required some flexibility switching rooms or adding nights etc. On each occasion these folks went above and beyond to help us out and solve problems for us. Great hosts, clean and spacious rooms. Highly recommend their helpfulness and 'can do' attitude.

We have stayed here several times before and have always found it to be clean and comfortable. There was a relief manager in attendance looking after the place. It is well situated close to shops and restaurants. It may need a little updating over time.

Excellent accommodation close to the main street but very quiet. Off-street parking adjacent to each room. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the rooms and surrounds very clean and tidy. We had a great room, surprisingly spacious with kitchen with hotplates and microwave. The bed was comfy with excellent linen and great bedside lighting. Good sized bathroom with a separate toilet. Easy walk along the main street through the shopping area. Supermarkets walking distance but probably better to drive if you buy lots of food. Laundry facilities are available in the afternoon and early evening and an iron and ironing board are in the wardrobe. There is an outdoor table and chairs at each unit to enjoy the garden and birds. Highly recommended

I stayed one night in a premium studio with my grandson. To my delight, not only was there a queen and a single bed in the room, but a sofa and a dining table for 4. Cooking hob, fridge and bathroom. Situated very near town, but peaceful and quiet. The room was immaculately clean. I felt very welcomed by Paul. I would go there again if I am ever in Wanganui.

Cannot praise these guys highly enough. We only booked for one night but ended up having to stay two. Although it must have been the busiest weekend in Whanganui's calendar (Vintage Weekend) they bent over backwards to juggle things around and get us another night - very impressed and grateful - friendly folk as well.
