I cannot see how other people have rated this high!! Paying $90 for this - well I could have had a room at the Copthorne in town for the same cost. The walls are thin. The people next door laughed and talked till 2am. Then the snoring started. There are cobwebs on the curtain rails, a gas heater that does not work, tv that you can only have on one channel as the remote doesn’t work. Tea bags that are so old the tea is awful, so boil up some old socks for your morning drink. Light fittings need attention and the bulbs don’t work. Shower is rusty - but to be fair the water pressure is great and the shower mixer is modern and new. In fact the mixer is the only thing that I see is new. You have about 5 min of hot water before it starts to run out and get progressively cold. Next time I will find an old cardboard carton and sleep as the homeless do. Doing this you may not have tv - but you will be better off financially. …
This motel has been round the block a few times but is clean, beds comfortable & nice pillows. Bathroom spotless tho all a little tired. However, close to Rail Stn, Hospital & a great Indian restaurant. Owner was away but "Minders" very helpful.
The owner of Acacia Court is lovely, the rates are nice and cheap but you get what you pay for. The place is quite basic, the beds are old and had it and the toaster smelt really musty. It was pretty noisy and needs some type of ventilation system in the rooms.
A lovely motel, not far from the railway station and hospital. Room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was impressive. Reception was friendly and helpful. A great place to stay at a great price.
We arrived on Friday night late Joan was happy to open the reception for us and then kindly showed us to our room and gave us a tour of the room and showed how the remotes worked to get the tv going. Joan was warm and welcoming and a delightful lady, thank you for a great nights stay, the beds were comfortable and clean.
