Only stayed overnight on business trip but really good experience.

Seems a reasonably new facility, with everything very clean and in-room equipment, furnishings and utensils very good.

Rooms have small kitchenette and washing machine/dryer which came in handy having been on road for a while.

Staff very helpful.

Would recommend.

Another weekend stay at the Quest and once again friendly helpful staff, very clean room with everything we needed. Close to supermarket, mall, and other shops,

The room was on the larger size for a studio (compared to other hotels) had blackout drapes, heat pump, and was quiet,. Good carparking also

We stayed in a studio room for 6 nights on a recent trip to Palmerston North to watch the International Hockey. The reception staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, they always greeted you with a smile and a hello.
Rooms were a good size for a studio and included a washing machine & dryer in the room, often only seen in a 1 bedroom Quest.
Housekeeping was efficient and rooms were well maintained. Would recommend this hotel.

I stayed for 6 nights in a 2nd floor corner room at the front.

Apparently only 2 years old, the setup, design and features of this property and my room were amazing.

The many pluses
+ Full kitchen with 1/2 fridge and all the pots/pans and dishes to cook a meal, although being so close to so many restaurants and grocery stores there was no need
+ nice TV with tons of free movies and unused inputs for streaming devices
+ Windows on both sides
+ Clothes washer and dryer
+ very comfortable bed with premium linens
+ Powerful air con/heater
+ Secure card access both at the front door and the elevator
+ No work desk but the kitchen table chairs were very comfortable
+ New style coffee maker with free pods
+ Walk-in shower (no tub)
+ Digital clock radio with USB charging ports
+ Real telephone with instant link to reception

To know
- There is no room safe

Front desk staff were all excellent.
If I return to Palmerston I will definitely stay here

While the place looks nice new and clean there are plenty of flaws
I was staying on 1st floor and anytime someone above my room wanted to walk around I could here it.

Being close to a corner which is a main intersection it means a sleepless night listening to loud exhaust pipes drivers changing doen gears for the lights and heavy transport.

I wouldn't be staying here anytime soon as 4 hours sleep due to constant road noise is not acceptable especially when I'm here fornwork.

Only thing wrong was they charge $5 a night for parking

We cannot rate the staff more highly- especially Lymiel and his two colleagues. They just couldn’t have been more helpful, whether it was the adaptor we needed, the extra night (cyclone Gabrielle meant our visit to Napier was not a good idea) or the slightly extended check out time. Always smiling, always helpful and what a difference it makes to the stay.

The accommodation itself (studio) was good, reasonably spacious, a modern TV, and a washing machine and dryer. The two hot lamps in the bathroom worked well and we both appreciated the USBs by the bedside.

Only niggle was a limit of two devices per person using the Wi-Fi – why? A silly rule that the staff helped us sort out and as a result it was most enjoyable two day stay.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Fitted out to a high standard, two air cons, laundry, tv's, well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable and well managed. Close to Mall and Square. Off street parking available.

Excellent accommodation in Palmerston North. Close to the Plaza. Good sound proofing on windows. Very new and everything in our studio apartment was excellent. The mattress protector squeaked and crackled but otherwise excellent comfy bed.

Don’t ask to check in 20 mins early as you will not be welcome. First time I’ve been growled at for arriving 20 mins early. I totally understood our room wasn’t ready and check-in is AT 2PM! but there are nicer ways to explain this to guests. The rest of our stay was great. So just a small blip on the radar. We would definitely stay here again.

5 stars for the room, clean and modern, everything you need. Staff were lovely.

However we left to go home at 1.30am as we couldn’t sleep due to mattress making noise every time you moved. Perhaps a new mattress protector? So disappointing.
