A no frills unit in easy walking distance to town. The caretaker was friendly and kind. The bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was good. It is right next to Main st, which attracts boy racer cars late into the evening and a lot of trucks early in the morning. If you're a light sleeper maybe ask for a unit as far from the road as possible. I happened to have the unit next to the one picnic table in the car park, which was consistently used by smokers and the cigarette smell wafted around my door. But otherwise good value.
I was greeted by the loveliest and friendliest receptionist. When I got to my room it was very clean, modern and cozy. I was very impressed!!! It had heaps of free parking Will definitely be staying again.
The staff were fantastic, the room was beautiful, and it may sound trivial, but the tea and coffee supplies were very high quality. And you got real milk in a cute wee bottle from reception. They took really good care of us, and I totally recommend staying here. It's close to town, and practically next door to Dominos, who I imagine walk their deliveries :)
Our Club booked 15 rooms for a one night stay and were delighted with our stay. Our room keys were all ready for us and our special requests were attended to. The rooms were very nice, clean, with good amenities. Good towels and care products, plenty of tea, coffee etc, very comfortable beds. The reception staff were very friendly.
We just had the worst stay in this hotel. The OUTGOING Mangers where so rude, they treated as awful and the disrespectful way they treated the lovely new manager was truly awful. We where a big group so our 18 rooms where not serviced for the 3 days (replaced towels and some bins) we where constantly told we where to loud or just watched with with a evil look we could do anything right. The kids where not to loud they where kids and they did there best to stay quiet. We asked for a outside bin for the kids to use and where told aggressively we have to use our room bins. Then when our kids put rubbish in the glass bin we got told off. We did try to move this bin as we knew it would happen but got told off for moving it (Kids don’t read and let give them ups for putting rubbish in the bin) Whenever we had rubbish she would make such a big deal over it and demand we leave it in our rooms my room didn’t have the rubbish removed for 2 days and it was a XL Black wheely bin liner. I am not sure why she couldn’t give us a wheely bin The first night we where there the rubbish bins where picked up at 4am woke us all up . The second night the markets where set up we where all again woken at 3.30am then the last night the business next door filled there rubbish bins at midnight. So a over all awful experience and I would suggest the new owners get rid of them fast and let Colin do his job he was incredible. And OUTGOING mangers find new line of work you are awful at hospitality!!! BUT THANK YOU COLIN (new manager) FOR TRYING YOUR BEST YOU ARE A SWEET MAN AND WILL TURN THINGS AROUND…
