Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Clean, comfy, and spacious room.
The room had everything I needed including a small kitchen and spar bath. I did not notice any noise from the other guests. There was also a table that I could work at.
It's centrally located close to the center of town and also has easy parking on site. The staff running the motel are lovely and easy to deal with.

We had a three night stay in the 2 room unit as we were travelling down to take our son to start at Massey University. The unit was spacious, clean and private. The beds were comfortable and it had all amenities you could require. The management were friendly and went above and beyond for us! It was great value for money and in an extremely convenient location. We would not hesitate in recommending Camelot Court - and will be staying there on future visits to Palmerston North.

Sweet staff. The rooms got everything you need and they are clean! They give you milk for your coffee and you even have a bag porch you can drink it at in the morning. Is one of the best hotels we have visited on our road trip in this price range. Can recommend it.

Unfortunately my experience at the Camelot was not glamorous. The place was overrun by noisy school kids from Whakatane College. The school teachers walked around the complex at 6.12 am waking in the students, they managed to wake everyone else staying there.

The rooms are inundated with 1970’s green, the bed was small and hard.

HI Palmerston North had the National Volleyball championships on that week and everyone had schools teams in from around the country so you would of had to deal with the school teams wherever you stayed that week unfortunately. It is the busiest week of the year in Palmerston North. The girls had to be at the event by 8.00am. We are still in the process of doing up all the rooms and you must of stayed in one we have not had the light green carpet replaced yet but more rooms are getting done in the next couple of months. Beds are a very personal thing and we have purchased in the medium scale of hospitality beds so they are not too hard or soft Kind Regards

From the friendly staff to the well-appointed rooms, this motel is, in my opinion, the best value for money in Palmerston North. The studios are huge and have spa tubs. A continental breakfast is available. It's in a quiet area, and a good night's sleep was had by both my husband and myself. And all of this is at a great room rate.

We come into Palmy every couple of months for things we can't get in our fairly rural community, and this is where we are staying from now on!

When making the booking I had a special request which Peggy agreed to. They accepted our online booking and payment but upon arrival at the motel Willie wouldn't allow the request and Peggy then denied agreeing to it which put us in a very difficult situation. Willie became confrontational and argumentative and was obviously happy he had our money. The unit was comfortable and clean enough, but a very noisy location on a Saturday night. I would not stay here again or recommend the motel mostly because of the owners rude attitude. Customer service and satisfaction does not appear to be a high priority.
