Great hotel. We got like a studio room. A double and single bed in it. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The studio had a small kitchette which allowed us to cook dinner.

The fridge is small, as you would expect, but adequate.

Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels, toilet paper, and soaps etc.

We had a small problem with the door lock, which was sorted straight away.

I would recommend staying here if you are in Palmerston North, close to town as well.

I was a bit worried about the noise from the service station next door but didn't hear anything at night lol. Was great for a BP coffee in the morning.

The owner / manager was awesome and friendly. Had a few laughs with him.

So Quiet!. Even though right next to a service station this motel was very quiet and the coffee from the BP was actually very good.
Could not fault the clean crisp sheets and plenty of room in the
Tons of Sky Sport but there’s no movie channels. An easy fix if you remember your Netflix password.
Very happy with our stay

We have a room for 3 adults near the back of the property. It was a ground floor unit and we could park the car right in front of the unit. Most welcomed for easy unloading and loading of luggages. The room was clean, comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. WiFi reception was good.
Short drive to pick up groceries. The operator was very friendly and welcoming.

Service and cleanliness is great, king size bed was awful and of very poor quality. Could feel the springs in the mattress and it was really hard. The pillows were budget as well. The room was also very cold at night and the heatpump doesn't do justice as the hot air gets trapped up stairs where our kids slept, so couldn't keep it running without suffocating them. Had to turn it off. Also got questioned for taking the big bottles of soap, that we would never take, this was before asking the cleaners and checking the surveillance cameras for the real culprits. Very Dissatisfied. We wouldn't be returning here.

Don't stay here! Rip off 1 bedroom apartment
Run down, mouldy ceilings, mouldy shower walls, holes in sheets, dusty dirty closet, stained pillow cases.
Found someone's used earplugs in the draws- Gross!
not clean.
Was desperate to find a place to stay. Did not see the reviews

We were given the disabled unit which meant the shower in the tiny bathroom/toilet area caused a complete flood on the floor. No shower curtain. It was dangerous and slippery the whole night. We had to use our towels and tea towels and flannels to try to mop up. We got takeaways BUT the bowls and cutlery in the unit were filthy with food so we had to clean them first. We were not given any milk for a cuppa, the room remotes were also covered in sticky food. The unit was filthy and we won’t be back!!!

Upside:
The room was very clean and tidy.
I like it that uses fob/key card for entry which I find it very convenient.
The location is good and very close to the city center.
The price was very reasonable.

Downside:
The beds were too soft which I had a bad sleep because of that. Also the single bed was too light that my 4-year-old could push it around. It could be dangerous if you were too excited to jump onto the bed once you got here cos this bed will just fly like a magic carpet.
The wifi was slow and unstable.
The main door doesn't have anything to lock from the inside. Any young children could open the door to the outside without any adult's help.
Parking space were a bit tight. You could find it struggle to park if the motel is full of cars.

We had a nice two night stay here. The check in was quick. Our room was spacious and sparking clean! It has a really well thought out floor plan and all the nice things you need.

We noticed how thorough the room service was on out second day and thought this was really nice as often this can be treated as a superficial service. We’d happily return! YMMV

Clean well appointed .Nice large TV soft beds and big shower with good water pressure .

Aircon did not heat room to well but was adequate ..
Preferably if you can ,book an upstairs room as my experience was somewhat made less enjoyable by a bunch of elephants who were evidently dancing around in the room above me ….

Stayed here 1 night after a long drive after reading previous reviews. Friendly owner and room was very clean and tidy with a car park right outside . Some Local area information in the room for guests would’ve been appreciated.
