Property's Favourite Review
We stayed in the Zebra Room on the first floor - up a spiral staircase. Spotless room - very large room with all the facilities Full communal kitchen, TV area and lounge on ground floor. Good location near main road (but no road noise) gave easy access. 5 minutes to town. Highly recommended

What a beautiful little place to stay in. Every inch of it is spotless & the owner & cleaning lady were so lovely and really helped us out. There is no shortage of tea & coffee & even complimentary risks to have with your first cuppa. There was bread & jam etc in the lovely kitchen for guests to use, towels were luxurious and the bed was so crisp & clean. Lovely shared room to lounge in as well. Could not fault this place it was exceptional.*****Raye & Ian

We stayed at Zebras for one night on our way to Exmouth. It was the night after cyclone Seroja went through so there was no power unfortunately but our host was so accommodating and provided every room for a torch and battery operated candles throughout the property. The common area is well equipped and because of the gas cook top, we were able to cook our dinner (as there was nowhere to eat out due to the power outage). The whole property is incredibly clean and well appointed- the attention to detail is outstanding. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on while traveling too. I hope one day to visit again and take full advantage of the facilities.

Thank you for being so understanding with the challenges we all had to deal with due to the services being down following the cyclone. Such an unfortunate event but so glad that you have enjoyed the “glamping” experience at Zebras. Almost as close as “being on safari” as you can get 😉

Clean, welcoming, well appointed, fresh, peaceful. The best place to stay in Geraldton. We were close to everything we wanted, but just out of town enough so we could enjoy some peace and quiet. You're made to feel so welcome. It's home away from home. Can't wait to come back again.

We had just one night at Zebras and really enjoyed our stay. Note the guesthouse is quite a few km from the main part of town, so probably not ideal for those without a car. The owner is from South Africa and has used African rugs, furnishings and artifacts throughout the place to give it a very exotic feel. Almost felt like being on safari! Our room (the Rhino room) was a bit of a squeeze but for a small walk-in wardrobe where we could put the suitcases. Otherwise it would have been trip hazards galore. Highlight was the the very spacious and nicely decorated common areas including the well-appointed, light-filled kitchen. Even though our room was beside the highway we did not find traffic noise an issue. Wifi also very good, Would happily stay again.

So glad that you have enjoyed "being on safari"! Zebras is within a 2 minute walk from the beach and a 7-10 minute drive to the city centre. Although some of the rooms are smaller, guests are encouraged to contact me for an upgrade at a minimal cost, should any of the larger rooms still be available. An definitely encouraged to make use of the other shared areas to relax in. The room is mostly to enjoy a comfortable night's rest. Wifi is surely superfast :)
