The resort is on the main road of Coolangata. So the location is great - the beach is just across the road, there are plenty of restaurants nearby and there is a shopping centre (The Strand) with Woolworth’s and Aldi for groceries in the next building. The apartment is reasonably spacious. If you are not in a apartment in front of the building, you still can get a sea view, but less breeze. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, so it can get hot at night. Kitchen was adequately equipped. The building also has free WiFi which is a useful addition compared to previous visits. Overall good accommodation.

Good size unit, old fixtures and fittings. Lots of activities included for the children. The lists are extremely SLOW. We used the stairs most times (only used lift when bulky items needed to be transported). The sliding doors to the balcony rattled the entire time along with the windows. It was a nice inclusion that there was a vacuum to give the unit a quick vacuum to maintain cleanliness .

Great, spacious apartment with good lighting, lots of power points and plenty of kitchen supplies, crockery, cutlery, etc! Very generous starter pack. Free WI FI was a pleasant surprise! Exceptional location, across the road from the beach, restaurants and cafes beneath the hotel and just metres from the Strand Shopping centre. Unfortunately, there were a few negatives. 1. Hand basin in ensuite very small and low which made it very difficult to use. 2. Only 2 lifts made it very frustrating waiting a long time for lift only for it to arrive full and then having to wait all over again, especially during check in and check out days. 3. The Covid regulation of only 1 person or 1 family in the spa at one time. This was very frustrating as they did not have a booking system in place, so every time I went to use the spa, it was occupied.

This is the second time we have stayed and it still ticks all our boxes for a family holiday. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The room was equipped with everything we needed there are a huge range of restaurants close by as well as Woolies just down the street.
If I really wanted to be picky here are my suggested improvements. The toilet paper has to be the worst I have ever used, so bring your own or buy some from the local supermarket. A supply of clothes pegs in the room would be handy to keep stuff attached to the clothes airer on those windy days. Parking near the garbage room can be a bit unpleasant at times, so anything that could be done to make it smell like roses would be nice.
Finally a tip. The lifts can be slow during busy periods so just be patient - you are on holidays so chill and have a chat to whoever else is waiting it will help pass the time.

We booked a 4-night stay at Beach House Resort in Coolangatta. When we arrived we has trouble finding the entrance to reception, which turned to be from a side street. We were surprised at how shabby the reception looked but the staff were friendly and check-in was a smooth process. We were shocked by the position of our apartment. Not only were allocated a third floor apartment, but it was at the back of the building with views of corrugated roofs of commercial buildings including a pub. I went immediately back to reception and offered to pay for an upgrade to an ocean view. However I received a very smug reply advising that the hotel had no vacancies. The apartment itself was clean and it was obvious that the kitchen and bathrooms had had some upgrades, but it was mostly dark and dingy. The waiting time for the lifts was a disgrace, the WIFI was useless, the curtains were frayed and full of holes, the toilet ran constantly, the side street was noisy at night and it was difficult to get to sleep at night due to the outdoor lighting for the buildings behind. We ended up leaving a day early. We will never stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone else.

We were booked to go to Moreton Island, but, the Brisbane 3 day lockdown changed our plans so we urgently needed somewhere to stay. Phone staff amazing securing us a booking as soon as possible, hotel staff amazing from reception to ground staff, rooms so comfortable and so close to everything needed, location was perfect. Could not fault this accomodation at all. The relief we felt when we spoke to bookings was instant, we have driven 12 hours and found ourselves without accomodation and they all went above and beyond-a massive thank you to the entire Beach House Coolongatta team.

The unit was very roomy and although at the back it was positioned with magnificent views to the north, east and south. Perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday, with a choice of restaurants close by and long scenic coastal walks. We loved it.

First visit to Beach House and loved it! We were very lucky to be on 17th floor with outstanding views of spectacular Coolangatta beach. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the appartment is very well furnished with everything you could possibly need. It’s only minutes to get to supermarket, restaurants and the beach. We also used the bus close by to visit Pacific Fair shopping centre. There is underground parking but it’s not always available. Next time we plan to leave car at home and fly up as you don’t really need the car as it’s easy to use bus or taxi to get around.

This was my third stay at the beach house and this time we were allocated a unit on the 13th floor at the back. Loved it. It’s bigger than the side and front units and it still has beach views and hinterland views from the living area and hinterland views from the balcony off the main bedroom. The staff are very helpful - nothing seemed a problem. Friday and Saturday nights can get noisy as there is a nightclub on McLean street. We never had a problem getting chairs at the pool. All in all we had a terrific time.

although the the staff were very nice and helpful. the other guests were rude and entitled especially the older ones. i have never stay in a place were the guest were so rude and nasty to others it made for a awful atmosphere. There behaviour could be because its a time share place ad they think they own it. by the end of the week i had enough of the other guests. there only two lifts and each morning we were there they only had one working because the house keeping were using the other one we were told.. when we went to check out it took 20 mins to get down the lift as we had luggage and other things from the 11 floor we couldn't use the stairs as it was impossible. would i stay there again for the location yes it was central and lots of restaurants around and your across the road from the beach. the rooms were nice and the beach views from the front u can see right up to surfer paradise.one more thing your in charge of house keeping while your there you don't get offered new towel or toiletries lucky you have a washing machine and the two satchels.

Hi, We flew in so I suggest you contact the reception. They were so helpful and friendly. They also have many people driving from faraway with all size vehicles. Therefore they would be the safest to give you the answer you need.
