Stayed here in a deluxe room 3 on the ground floor. didn't want to go up and down the steps.
Easy check in and parking out the front of unit although would be a little tight for 3 big cars to fit in the area provided.
The room we had had a comfy Queen size bed and a single bed with bedside lights above the bed.
Tea/coffee making facilities, biscuits, microwave and fresh milk provided.
A/C and a microwave plus a large mirror in the main room.
Cupboard for hanging clothes, bench near TV for placing suitcases on and also near fridge. Table with 3 chairs in a good size room
Bathroom has shower with a glass screen door with body wash and shampoo in the shower and bath wash above basin in dispensers.
All in all a pleasant stay and would stay again.
Restaurant across the road, shops and RSL club 5 min drive away.

After a rough start to my trip, the managers at Cedar Lodge were only happy to help, taking a last minute booking on a late Sunday afternoon and even upgrading the room to ensure the most comfort as I had an early morning departure. Friendly staff, thoughtful amenities. An abundance of linen, towels, extra pillows and blankets. Exceptionally clean. Terrific water pressure in the bathroom. Easy access and parking. Absolutely no complaints about this hotel. 11/10

Large rooms, clean, comfortable and warm. We stayed here one night after our AirBNB became uninhabitable. We were very happy with our decision to stay here. Check was very easy. the motel is only a short walk from hotels, restaurants and the main part of town.

We booked here as it did suit the price
offered for just an overnight stay. It was
raining quite heavily on arrival, and next
morning, so we dont really know
what was close-by to restaurants or shops.
▪︎Having a table and chairs was a nice
addition
▪︎ Let down by a not so spic & span bathroom.
A Note to housekeeping : >
Bleach and a brush usually gets a good result
& perhaps a better score

Hi Annie, I think you may have reviewed the wrong motel as we haven't had any heavy rain over a two day period here for ages. As you can see from previous reviews, we get very good reviews and a lot of complimentary remarks on check out. However, I will be doing a spot inspection of bathrooms. Cheers Rick

Stayed here on a Saturday night. Easy walking distance to the mall and main town area. Unfortunately we arrived early afternoon and the country town was nearly all closed. I thought being a larger country town it might have had more to offer in the way of stores open etc.
Ground floor room was fairly large with Queen bed and single bed in the room. A/C with table and 3 chairs tea/coffee toaster and fresh milk provided.
Bathroom was a good size with soap dispenser in bathroom and Bath gel and Shampoo dispenser in shower which was large with a screen door..
Lady at reception was cheerful and looked after you well.
Only downside if any was as they have upstairs and downstairs units although the room parking is marked the width of the parking spots are rather small with the number of 4 wheel drive vehicles staying at the motel.
Lovely restaurant (Warawee Cottage) directly across the road with great meals. Reviewed on anther post..

My husband and I had a brief stay at Cedar Lodge. We had to arrive in early morning but Julie had the key and receipt all ready in the specific pick up place she mentioned it would be when we spoke. Julie was really lovely to speak with and went out of her way to help us with a couple of things to be done for us upon our arrival. The room was terrific, very clean , tidy , comfortable with all that we needed and did not smell ‘old’ as have other Motel Rooms previously. Thank you Julie.

My wife and I stayed here recently on a Tuesday night in a budget room which was perfect for our needs. Nice bed, good bathroom and shower. Checkin was quick and easy with a great recommendation for dinner at a local pub.
Best to book ahead as the No Vacancy sign was out here and 4 or 5 motels in the near vicinity.

the room was clean and comfortable ... however ... I was kept awake until after 2.30am with music from what seemed to be either from the same motel or nearby pub. When I complained the next morning I was told "yes, I saw that on facebook."no apology, not impressed.

We had a long trip back to the Gold Coast the next day, made evern longer due to the fact that we had distubed sleep.

Our stay was on a saturday night so maybe this is normal in Armidale but we will not stay here again.

We stayed 1 night July 10th. Hotel was very clean and quiet. The location was good and handy to walk to numerous restaurants/shops etc. The bed was ok. The lady at the front office was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was good value for money, I’d stay again.

There are thousands of motels like this one in rural towns spread across Australia. Our room was perfectly adequate for a one night stay. The room was clean, warm and matched the price point charged. The lady that checked us in was efficient and welcoming. Well worth a stay- go ahead and book it.

Hello, thank you for your question. We have couple of different rooms, our standard Queen is $115.00 per night for up to 2 people, it has 1 queen bed and is our budget room, as it is smaller than our Deluxe Suites which are only $10 more at $125.00 per night for up to 2 people. The Standard budget Queen room is upstairs and we only have one of these rooms in our motel, all the others are either Deluxe rooms, family suites or our Spa suite. I do hope this has helped you, you might like to visit our website cedarlodgemotel com au and you will be able to see the different types of rooms. Please feel free to phone on 02 6772 9511 if you have any further queries, and we will be happy to help in any way we can. Have a lovely day, Julie. (owner)
