This hotel was a great find! Located within easy walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, fast food, shopping and tourist information. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious with everything you needed to have breakfast or a microwaved dinner in your room including separate table and chairs and plates, cutlery and glasses as well as washing up materials. There was also a lounge and plenty of room for bags etc. Bathroom amenities were included and electric blankets and air conditioning was appreciated. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely return if visiting Armidale again.

Whenever I travel I spend a good 20 minutes weighing up the options for accomodation looking at mostly value in the higher range.
I used to stay at the Powerhouse but these days they are way overpriced for what they offer.
A few years back I came across Armidale Pines and have been staying there ever since.
It’s conveniently located in town and i can walk to most places.
In all my times here I’ve stayed in most of the room types and they are all quite large, almost like a small apartment.
They offer comfortable lounges and plenty of chairs and bench space.
The TV size could do with an upgrade to keep up with other places I’ve been around NSW, but this is a minor issue and prob just a personal thing. I ended up watching Netflix on my laptop because the lounge is too far away from the TV to get a decent view.
The air conditioner works too well and I ended up turning it off after a while because the room got too hot, even after setting it at 22.
Bed was comfortable and shower was adequate.
The staff at the desk are very friendly and accomodating.
Overall Armidale Pines remains my go-to when in Armidale.

We stopped off here on our way back to the Sunshine Coast and would certainly do so again. The motel is located an easy walk to several restaurants and takeaway places and the host could not have been more welcoming. Our room was clean, very spacious and really warm on a chilly Armidale night. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the simple room service breakfast before heading off in the morning. Perfect!

We had three nights here and it was quite pleasant - we had a nice big room with a desk, a table and a big kitchenette area. However I noticed the bathroom wasn't terribly clean. The bed wasn't made properly on the day we asked for service, so I had to remake it. The bed was also very low down and not all that comfortable, and there wasn't enough storage space for clothes. If you were staying for more than a few days it would be tricky.
The location is quite good, with fast food outlets and a milk bar near, and not too far to walk for the main shopping street and better eating places. The reception staff member was helpful with local information.
The weather was showery when we were there, and so I hung a jacket outside my room to dry while I was inside, in a period of sunshine. An hour later it had disappeared!! That was a worry - although when I went over to reception they had it. That's a first for me in a motel!

I am very sorry to learn that you found the bathroom not to be cleaned to the highest standard and I am disappointed that this was not brought to our attention when you were staying so that we could rectify this for you immediately. Thank you also for the feedback regarding the bed as we have not had this feedback previously and will definitely check the bed's comfort. Regarding clothes storage there is a large wardrobe in all rooms which is usually suitable for most guests however we have noted your feedback regarding longer stays. Overall we were pleased to learn that you enjoyed the room size, location, local conveniences, and the reception staff's service. The motel is well located. , close to the town centre.
The rooms are clean, big by motel standards and the bathroom and shower also is clean and the showers are great.

We had a lovely overnight stay. The room was well-equipped, clean, quiet and spacious. The king bed was extremely comfortable. The location is a short walk from the Armidale CBD and several pubs and restaurants. Judy, the manager was very helpful. Highly recommended.

during the recent floods we had to go through Armidale. Rang and booked a room at the Armidale Pines. The lady who took the booking was wonderful. We had got lost in the rain and flooding roads and the Armidale Pines came to the rescue. The lady from the pines was very helpful and with a late arrival almost midnight organising a clean, spacious and comfortable room for us. Thankyou so much.

Pleasantly surprised that the room was so spacious, with a kitchenette. Our room was really quiet and we were very comfortable. The location is great, close to main shopping area. Highly recommend visiting the Thai restaurant across the road.

Always a very welcoming, clean, fresh stay. Best shower for our 2 weeks away, the pressure was amazing. Great location with excellent eating places one block away.

We spent a three day weekend at The Pines recently. Everything about the stay was excellent quality. Our room was quiet, despite the proximity to a busy street corner. Comfy, warm bed and quiet air con. Our room had a jug, toaster and microwave and a sink (apart from the bathroom). Everything was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly, Covid savvy and more than willing to go that extra yard.
