A bit different in that Wayne lives on site and you are really just sharing his place. It is an old villa which needs work but the rooms are big, the beds and bathrooms fine, Wi-Fi great and a large kitchen / dining area with other hang-out spots too. And Wayne is a hell of a nice guy who goes out of his way to help.

This isn't a hostel, it's a home. It's nice and comfortable. When we arrived there was no one around just a sign to say which room we were in. Bit odd but was fine. When we did meet the owner, he was very friendly and helpful! We had a private room which was a good size and a comfy bed. The bathroom was big, could be a bit cleaner. The kitchen was okay size for amount if guests. Free tea and coffee! There was 2 big communal rooms fo sit and chill out. The Wi-Fi was really good here. The location is fine, there's not much in Westport but it was only a few mins walk from the main street. Security was a bit odd, sometimes front door wide open others it was shut and we had to knock to be let in. It was nice and quiet and I would stay again and recommend it too.

If you don´t mind squeaky floors, comfortable armchairs, high ceilings and spacious kitchens - this is the place for you! A welcoming house with some character and history to it. A nice backyard and balcony to enjoy the sundowns. Many free bonuses (wifi, towels, bikes to get around, tea&coffee...) and a charming, helpful landlady to take care of it all - what more can you ask for? And yes, all that for a very affordable price. :D
