Had a wonderful stay. Room clean, warm, ample size. Newly renovated. Eleanor and Derek were fabulous hosts. Very friendly and full of knowledge on the area. Yummy breakfast provided. Te Anau is a perfect stay to explore the Fiordlands and a sensible stop for on the way to Milford or Doubtful sounds

Spent two nights here, very comfortable room. Thought the road would be noisy but needn’t have worried. First morning had great pancakes cooked by Derek. I had savoury, which I would recommend but wife had sweet which she would recommend!!! Second morning we had an early start and Eleanor kindly packed us a breakfast which made the next day go a whole lot easier. Good location, and easy to park too.

We stayed at cosy Kiwi for two nights. Lovely rooms with great facilities, fluffy towels and nice little extras in the room. Tea and coffee with biscuits and sweeties. Breakfast was fantastic with rhubarb from the garden and home made savoury and sweet pancakes. Great tea and coffee at breakfast. Immaculately clean . Great place to stay

Cosy Kiwi is well located on Milford Rd within walking distance to the town centre. It is a modern building with very comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms. The breakfast has full range of items for a continental breakfast as well as scrambled eggs. The owner will also make savoury or sweet pancakes if you want them. She is very welcoming and can offer good advice about local attractions and traveling times between other towns. We had a great stay. Given the prices of much less salubrious accommodation in town this place is good value for money.

Hard beds, plain rooms and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. There is a common room up stairs again plain and not very welcoming. Reminded me of a small hotel from the 70's. Not very friendly either.

Very fresh room. Had an amazing night sleep in white sheets after long days hiking / kayaking in the Milford Sound area. The hosts are very good people. Close to town, breakfast was much better than expected.

This is a lovely, modern B&B just outside the town centre of Te Anau on the Milford Rd. Only a few minutes walk from the restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarket. There is off road and on road parking available at the front of the property. Our room was on the ground floor, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. A very nice well thought-out wet room was our ensuite. Our lovely host provided fresh milk for hot drinks along with lots of advice about where to eat and things to do. Guests can use an upstairs lounge, which is very cosy and had a balcony with great views of the area. There are laundry facilities available in the afternoon ($8 will cover the use of the washing machine and the tumble dryer.) Our breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, eggs, toast and made to order pancakes. Eleanor and Derek were excellent hosts. I'm sure you will enjoy a stay here, as we did.

Lovely welcome and information by owner! The place is new and very clean where I had the best sleep after a long flight and drive. Within walking distance to restaurants, stores and cinema. Reasonable price- a great value after pricing two old motels! Lovely breakfast with a B&B feel, but not intrusive. Quiet place to re-energize after a long day of driving Milford Sound.

Stayed here for a night recently. Close (but not to close) to the town centre and restaurants with very friendly hosts. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I would recommend this place and would be happy to stay there again.

Cozy Kiwi is reasonably well located and the room and laundry facilities we had were fine however we were very disppointed with the breakfast... in three weeks touring New Zealand this was the least satisfying experience by a measure. The breakfast room was noisyy and we felt that the whole breakfast process parsimonious ..and delivered as expediently as possible.
