The Aaran Motel was a terrific place to stay before heading to Milford Sound. Our room was warm, comfortable, had amenities like tea kettle, plates, forks and spoons. The staff person upon check in was very nice and hospitable...made us feel so welcome!! The location was close to town within walking distance. The property is well kept, and in a nice area. Yes we would return!!

Spacious, neat and clean. Reasonable price during peak season.
"Arron Motel" has exceeded our exceptions of Motel accomodation. It was fantastic and better than few Airbnb accomodations during our family vacation to NZ. We are happy to recommend to anyone.

We stayed a night here and found the hosts helpful and accommodating. They happily stored some of our gear while we walked the Milford Track and helped us out on our return as well. The facilities were clean and comfortable. I totally recommend supporting this business!

We stayed as 3 adults in a one bedroom unit for two nights. It was very spacious, very clean and a home away from home. A short stroll to the lakefront and into town for dining and attractions/tour operators. Mel and Mark were wonderful hosts, Arran Motel is a wonderful place to stay.

Stayed two nights here for a trip down Doubtful Sound. The room aS well designed, spacious with excellent facilities. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.it was clean and we'll prrsented. I would have given five stArts but there is some noise from neighbours as the walls are quite thin. Especially when they depart at 4 am! Otherwise great, I have no hesitation in recommending it!

Our room was newly decorated, clean and contained everything that we needed - perfect for a night away for my husband, daughter and myself. It's handy to everything and Mel was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Nice little motel in Te Anau. Rooms are not huge but they are comfortable, they are warm and clean. It's good value for money compared to others in Te Anau. Additionally, and very important, the staff is very kind and helpful!

Clean friendly motel with exceptional staff. We stayed in a studio room, with comfortable and clean beds. The shower was excellent. Parking was directly outside of the motel. The housekeeping staff were fantastic and very helpful. We would definitely recommend.

Mark and Mel were very pleasant and helpful in every way. The room, although a studio unit, was clean and comfortable. Towels were soft and clean. We had healthy exercise - just a short walk down to the lakefront! I would recommend staying here anytime. richardpar
