Lovely B&B with comfortable bed and room was clean. Lovely shower. The owners were very helpful and provided a good breakfast, even catering for coeliac gluten-free free food. Would recommend it to anyone. The only thing they need to do a bit more is to sweep the courtyard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at this super comfortable B and B. We had the front room which was huge and spotlessly clean. The room had a king and single bed so plenty of space to spread out. The hosts were very obliging and friendly from the welcome to chatting over breakfast. We had been staying in motels on our road trip so it was nice to talk to locals and other travellers. Parking within the property was a bonus. Like other reviews have mentioned, the kitchen and its contents are there to be used if so desired. We chose to drive into town for a meal and luckily had booked days ahead as reservations were scarce. Thanks for a great stay. The 5 stars are well deserved.

Absolutely spotlessly clean and comfortable…. From the moment I checked in with Nathan to the time I reluctantly said farewell to Liz & Nathan I felt so relaxed & comfortable … I received a run down on the facilities of the House & also info on where to eat & suggested tours etc …. Local knowledge is always the BEST …my room was Rozlind & had a queen bed + Single … plenty of space for 2 nights ( wish I’d stayed longer) such an exquisite area to view … Thanks again Liz & Nathan for your kindness & great advice …. Great stay at a value for money accommodation! Special shout out to Nathan and Liz - hosts and owners. Made us welcome and pointed us in the right direction for all the right trips and places to go. Great hosts. The location is 100m from the lake shore and an easy 10 minute stroll to town! Just right. Special mention is that the facilities are spotless. We had a great sleep in an excellent bed.

Great location, spacious room and ensuite plus the option to relax in the lounge area outside your room. The breakfast was great just what we needed to fuel up for a day of activities. They have a share fridge you can keep your drinks and food in, filtered water and even wine glasses plus they are happy for you to use the kitchen to make your meals if you don’t want to eat out. But the best thing is the hosts - they went out of their way to return my passport to me, that I’d dropped behind the bed, for that I am forever grateful, Yvonne Perth WA

Highly recommend. Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated & spotlessly clean. The beds are super comfortable. Plenty of space for sorting tramping gear or large suitcases. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty with a great selection for continental breakfast. Hosts Liz & Nathan were super friendly and helpful. Southland hospitality at its finest.

Our group of two couples stayed for two nights after driving down the west coast for about a week. It was so refreshing to arrive at the beautiful rooms and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The location is the perfect mix of care and friendliness from the hosts, like a B&B, but with the privacy of a motel with your own room and ensuite. The only downfall from our perspective was the lack of sound proofing from the rooms - I understand this is not simple to fix but I constantly felt wary of my noise level and could sometimes hear my neighbours using their blind chains or snoring in the night. The upside of this is that the property was very quiet in the evening and night both nights we stayed! Definitely recommend booking here if you are staying in Te Anau. Thanks for having us!…

Was only there for one night but without too many tourists around we had a very peaceful rest. We chose the Kiwi breakfast as an extra and it was delicious. It was nice to chat with the hosts, Liz and Nathan who were able to give help with a question from our travels (which you have to guess) . The answer is Manapouri sewerage plan.

Stayed 2 nights to do the Milford Sound Day Cruise from Te Anau and glad we did. It would be a very long day if the Tour started and finished in Queenstown. Well situated in Te Anau and a quiet location and well priced. ContinentalBreakfast was more than adequate and Cooked Breakfast if wanted is only $10 per person. The personal contact with Liz and Nathan was appreciated. Very quiet due to Covid so this business needs support. Cannot recommend highly enough.
