Jane was a wonderful host and was very attentive. Good advice and helpful. Accommodation was excellent with outstanding views. Ideal for a longer stay. Te Anau is a nice village. Enjoyed the breakfast chats.
Lovely hostess and host have two well-appointed cabins on their property. Jane was responsive by email prior to the trip and very helpful with ideas/early-morning breakfast/etc for our two day stay. We were checked on, but had plenty of privacy. Very comfortable bed and hearty breakfast. You won't need a thing that's not already there!

Had done a lot of research on places to stay in Te Anau and came across The Croft - what an absolutely delightful place to spend a view days. Easy to find as it is just off the highway to Milford Sound - 2 lovely little cottages nestling on either side of the main house - lovely hostess and the green cottage we stayed in was spotless with nice homely touches. Would agree with what other people have said, if you are staying a few days like we did a bit of cupboard or drawer space would be nice but stress this was not a big issue for us. Te Anau the village is a short car drive away and there are a number of restaurants to choose from and the inevitable gift shops but a sweet little place to walk through. Central location to all the tourist sites - breakfast is excellent and…
