Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Quiet location with amazing views. This B&B is very well appointed - tastefully decorated and Hannah (our host) was most accommodating and helpful. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed Hannah’s home baking and coffee once we settled into our room. Hannah gave good recommendations for eateries within the town. Biggest bonus was I was able to have small parcel of laundry done to help us continue on our onward journey. All in all it’s been a very positive experience at Dunluce .

Wonderful B&B, quiet location and yet just a short walk or drive from the lakeside. The decoration and attention to detail in the rooms and the common areas is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious; as a coealiac I was really well looked after and had great options. The tea and coffee we could help ourselves to do was great quality; and there was a fridge to store our own food as well. Hannah was a fantastic host, and really made us feel at home. Our only regret was that we only had a few days there!!

We stayed for 2 nights at Dunluce. We were very impressed with the interior design, the cosiness of the B&B. Hannah is a lovely and friendly host. Her home baked cookies were a delight. She packed us a picnic breakfast when we left early to Milford Sound. We thoroughly enjoyed the view from outside as well and the walks. Highly recommend this cosy B&B.

I was very impressed with this bed-and-breakfast. It was built within the last 10 years and still feels very fresh. It is in a secluded residential neighborhood, with a fabulous view across the lake to the mountains. The host Hannah took care of all of our needs.

What a lovely bed and breakfast and its owner Hannah was a wonderful host! She was so welcoming and helpful! Our room was nice especially the bathroom which had heated floors and a fog free mirror. The breakfasts were delicious and drinks and baked goods were available at all times. She even did my laundry one day when I needed my jeans washed overnight. It’s a perfect stop if you are going on a trip to Milford Sound (spectacular) or to the Glowworm caves ( just ok). The tour we took to Milford Sound was excellent (Trips and Tramps), and they picked us up at the house. (I would have given the bnb 4.5 stars but couldn’t on the website.)

Dunluce B&B is great base for trips to Milford and Doubtful Sounds and the boat ride to the Glow worm caves but it is much more than that. The rooms are beautiful each with their own sunny outside space with views over fields to the lake and mountains beyond. You can be in Te Anau within minutes but it was always lovely to come back to the peace and quiet of Dunluce, on the edge of town, The breakfasts are lovely, especially the little breakfast pots and we welcomed being able to make tea and coffee in the dining room whenever we wanted. Hannah is s superb host , even contacting us the night before we arrived to suggest booking a restaurant in advance for dinner, it was great to get our washing done too. Recommend staying a few nights to chill out between trips.

Fantastic place. Really good location enabling a short walk into town. Really clean and excellent quality all round. Host, Hannah, could not be more welcoming and informative. Breakfast was to die for . We always tools a couple of muffins for midday snack. In terms of Te Anau I would recommend to pre-book dinner reservations as restaurants get very busy and booked. Highly highly recommend staying here, made a great memory as part of our holiday

What a clean delightful B&B in a charming neighborhood overlooking the lake. Dunluce is conveniently located: a short drive to the town center. Hannah is charming and provides a very nice breakfast. The house is spotless and beautifully decorated. A true gem!
