We found out about this Motel on Tripadvisor and it was a cracker. We stayed for 2 nights because we were going into Milford Sound for a day. This is an older motel but has been extensively upgraded. Excellent fixtures and equipment. Lynda was a laugh and very personable. We would definitely stay again.

The motel was great, it had everything that we needed, Fully equip kitchen with oven and microwave . cosy beds and living area and TV. The motel was centrally located and walking distance to shops (400m) and the lake front (150m).

We loved our stay. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities needed to be self-catering. Very friendly owners and staff including Molly the dog. The staff were helpful in providing anything we needed.

We stayed four nights at this motel and will return on a future visit. These are older style spacious units beautifully renovated and decorated and spotlessly clean with a green influence which was great. The owner was very helpful offering advice about things to do and see in the area.

Thank you Robin for a wonderful review and its great when we have guests that stay a few days and enjoy our beautiful surroundings in Te Anau and the National Park. You are correct our Motel was built in 1973 but we in 8 years have upgraded the motel so much including decorating our apartments for the 2nd time and still working on some more apartments this winter. I always think if we give great advice then people get to see more of the area.
