We were thrilled with our room, and its spectacular dual aspect views over the lake! We had seen TA reviews recommending room 11 so we asked for it specifically, and it was well worth it. We had a table and chairs on the balcony right outside our door. The room was well equipped, clean and roomy, and was a good temperature. There was good Wi-Fi and good tv apps/channels. The bed was very comfortable. There was underground parking. The staff in reception were very helpful and recommended ideas for activities. The walk into town was about 15 minutes downhill. It wasn’t that bad walking back up! We had an evening stroll around the shops. Queenstown has a lovely feel about it, like a mountain ski resort. I would definitely stay at this motel again.

One of the few places I’ve stayed at that looked just as advertised. Very clean, new looking, comfortable and a great view. Morgan was very friendly too. Probably would have given 5 stars but we couldn’t find the coffee plunger. Apparently it was in the one cupboard that was blocked by the fridge. I would stay there again. Thanks!

An excellent motel unit with kitchenette facilities (including a hotplate, microwave and bar fridge), well located just a 10 minute walk from town. Management photos are accurate. Though on the main road (and with roadworks continuing) there was no noise. The road down to the lake is STEEP!! Nice views. We were on the lower floor at the back, close to the dedicated undercover carpark (handy for luggage) and very quiet with limited foot traffic from the other units. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was hot and strong and the unit was warm. The owners/managers were very helpful and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay again.

We had 3 nights here after flying into Queenstown. We had a lovely room overlooking the lake with a fantastic view. Easy walk into the centre of Queenstown along multiple routes. Even though it was on busy Frankton Road we never disturbed by any noise. The bed was a tad firmer than we both liked but that’s just personal preference not a room fault. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended…would stay again!

Stayed 5 nights as part of NZ tour of North and South Islands. Quuenstown is a lively town on lake Wakatipu, surrounbysnow capped mountains. The Alexia Motel is a short walk into town, admiring the scenery. Views from the motel rooms are stunning. We arrived Christmas Eve and had a lovely note from the management asking us to pop in on Christmas day to say hello. Room was spotless, extremely well equipped with large bathroom, kitchenette etc. Big comfy bed and dining table etc. Highly recommend

we really enjoyed our Studio - No 11 with panararmic views over the water. The room is super clean and has everything you need - comfy bed, aircon, pots and pans so you can cook if it’s too cold to go out. A short walk to downtown which is great. undercover basement secure parking was excellent as parking in Queenstown is difficult! quiet room. front desk excellent would stay here again

We stayed at Alexis for 8-days in Oct/Nov 2022 when visiting from Brisbane for a friend's wedding. We found it was excellent value considering the 5-minute walk to the centre of Queenstown and the magnificent views from our Room. Room was clean, modern and warm. We will definitely stay their again on our next visit.

We’ve stayed several times before and will be back. Motel has everything you need; it’s very clean, comfy bed, aircon, pots and pans so you can cook if it’s too cold to go out or you simply want to relax in for a day or evening. Clean, fully featured bathroom. Some units have views of the lake.. it’s not in town but you can walk downhill and catch the bus back. The location gives you quiet to relax. It’s our favourite.

This motel was perfectly located so we could walk into town which was good because they were digging up the street and traffic was gridlocked. Nice clean motel and even though our room was right near the street the unit was double glazed and really quiet. Would return to this motel.
