With a less than 300 metres walk to the lake front and all the action of the eating drinking precinct the location is ideal. Our room was spacious with a large bed, nice bathroom, great shower, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. Down stairs covered parking and a guest laundry.

For the price, surprised how close to the town centre (about a 3-5 minute walk when taking the shortcut across the road) Coronation Lodge is. Shopping, restaurants, bars and Queenstown Gardens all within walking distance. Very clean and comfortable room with balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Lodge is on a bit of an incline but manageable. All in all, great stay and would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Our room #5 was of moderate size with kitchen facilities and a balcony overlooking the street and park. I found the room more comfortable than I expected from the photos though given the size of the room it might be nice to have had a cozy chair for reading. Otherwise you could sit on the bed or at the table. As mentioned by other reviewers, parking can be a challenge if the few spaces under the hotel are unavailable. But the waterfront, restaurants (try Botswana Butchery and Eichardts) and the gondola are just a 5 minute walk away. I would stay here again.

We stayed for 4 nights at the lodge. We got a comfortable room size with a balcony. The room is very clean, bright and inviting. The staff and the manager are very nice people and accommodating. The lodge is in a very good location, easy walk to town through the beautiful gardens. It is also a pleasant walk to the skyline Gondola. Will definitely stay at the lodge again if we come back to Queenstown.

A cold night. Room heater on low upon arrival, so took ages to warm up. Could hear neighbours through the wall. Yes there are underground car parks, but nowhere near enough for all rooms. Depending on time of arrival, the surrounding streets can be full. On the plus side, the room was clean. Lodge on a corner - a busy one so best if you not a light sleeper!
