My family and friends stayed at Platinum Villas for 7 nights, travelling all the way from Queensland, Australia, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to get ready for my wedding. The villas offer absolutely stunning views, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They truly made my partner and me feel special during this incredible time in our lives.
The villas had everything we needed right at our fingertips, including the convenience of catching up on laundry. But what stood out the most were the breathtaking views and the outstanding hospitality. The aesthetic and warmth of the fireplace were simply unbeatable.
A special mention goes to their in-service dry cleaning – I dropped off my wedding dress the morning after the big day, and it was promptly cleaned and returned, ready to take home. I only wish we could have stayed longer, as it felt just like home.
I can’t wait to share the photos of getting ready at the Villas. I would stay here every time I’m in Queenstown – it’s that good!

We stayed in a three-bedroom apartment (family of four plus my sister and brother in law). The apartment was immaculate, clean and functional. The kitchen had everything we needed for a weeks stay and the laundry was extremely useful. It was quiet and spacious. We used the gas fireplace to take the chill out of the nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I last rated Platinum Villas is 2017 and my review has not changed!
My 2017 review below;
“Well appointed, great location and warm!!!
The family stayed here for the weekend in a 3 bedroom alpine view villa. Very comfortable. The gas fire was a highlight!
The garage is a bit tight for a big SUV and the TV channels were fairly limited for premium accomodation.”
The only 2022 niggle is the inability to connect a device to the entertainment system for a family movie! Something similar to 2017 :-)

These villas are luxurious and spacious! Immaculately clean and well appointed. Would have liked aircon or quieter portable fans on hot nights, but considering the weather here is probably usually more mild, wasn’t a big deal. Big thumbs up.

I discovered this place online was searching for a nice place for 5 adults from Auckland to relax unwind and enjoy 3 day stay 18-21 April in Queenstown. I booked 3 bedroom Lake view Villa. Best decision I made well worth it The Villa was immaculately clean.The Kitchen, Dinning and lounge are spacious and well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, The bedrooms are spacious, King room has beautiful view of the lake on suite bathroom , beds very comfortable bathrooms have luxurious amenities. Family loved heated floors to the overhead showers. The view is what caught our eyes as soon as you open front door Spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu & The Remarkables!!
Highly recommended staying here. Definitely coming back with our kids next time 😉

Extremely clean, modern and functional for our family of 6! Staff very helpful. Beds incredibly comfy and unit was beautifully warm when outside was 0°C - 7°C. Very well maintained unit. We had the Alpine room and although not a direct view of the Remarkables, one step outside the outside the back doors, an east view could be seen.
Local Bus service effectively at the driveway and only a few minute ride to CBD.
Cardrona bus also picked us up from same bus stop.
Recommend this accomodation highly.

Had a fantastic stay at Platinum Villas! Awesome view. Great and friendly staff! Amenities are also really good. We especially loved staying by the fireplace and admiring the view of Lake Wakatipu from the lounge. All very relaxing! :)

We are a family of four who recently stayed in a lake villa for Xmas and New Year. This place is not cheap but worth every penny. Beautiful villa with gorgeous views of the lake. Some days we just stayed in as it was so comfortable however a short walk downhill gets you to the town centre which is wonderful. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in a lake view villa with another couple and were thrilled with our choice. The view from the first glimpse through the front door, to the vista from the back bifold doors which open out onto a patio, was breathtaking! The villas were very well appointed. The living area was great for two couples sharing and made even more lovely by the wonderful gas fire. The bathrooms too were spacious with full size bath, heated floor and towel rails. The villa was extremely clean on arrival. We found the 25 min walk into town easy & picturesque. The villas are set up the hill a bit so the last 10 mins got the heart rate up a bit but nothing unpleasant. If walkings not your thing there’s a bus stop right by the villas. Would highly recommend!!

Superb in every way! The photos of the apartments/views of the lake and mountains on their website are exactly as pictured! Could not fault this property in any way. They had thought of everything - even large umbrellas for the one rainy day we had during our stay! The beds were comfy, facilities and provisions were excellent, and the location just up out of town was perfect (much quieter than those down in town). Very spacious apartment with high ceilings, and good wifi. Only a ten minute walk into town. One of the best places we've ever stayed - would definitely stay here again!

We have a heater in the lounge room downstairs together with a fireplace, which keeps the place nice and cozy. Upstairs we have a heater in the hallway, heated floors in the bathrooms and heated towel rails.
Good morning, our villas do not have air-conditioning however we do have portable fans in each bedroom for summer.

Most of them have the lake view. Pl tell them you are particular and they will accomadate. All the villas are lined up along the lake. Simply breathtaking. A few are on the other side that have other views. Don’t miss the lake view. All villas are on ground/first floor. No further height.
They are a great property. The best I liked.
