Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bella Vista during our visit for the Queenstown Marathon. The location was perfect for our needs and easily within walking distance of all the city attractions. Our room was simple but very clean and had tea/coffee/microwave as well as a car parking space for our hire car, making our 5-day stay very comfortable and convenient. Definitely recommend staying at the Bella Vista - Mal will look after you!

I spent three nights at Bella Vista Queenstown. I found the apartment very suitable, with everything I needed. It was only a short walk to the Gondola, city centre and the lake. Parking on site was very convenient. I would definitely stay again.

An excellent place to stay in Queenstown. The venue was close to the city, a few minutes walk, as well as local shops up the top road. Our room was very clean and exactly what we needed for our stay. The host was very accommodating in allowing us to check in early so we could park our car there. We could not find any parking in Queenstown that day (lunch period). The motel is next door to a local school which made for a quiet night. Overall a very comfortable stay and we would certainly be back when next in Queenstown.

The building might be a bit dated however the bed was very comfortable, the room was really clean, the staff friendly and helpful; great location as it is easy walking distance to CBD, good parking available, would definitely stay again.

A really comfortable and very convenient motel at a very reasonable cost. Easy walk into the centre of Queenstown, easy parking and a quiet location, despite being so close to the action. Great value - highly recommended.

The room was nice and tidy, not super big but large enough to relax. The staff are nice. The view was awesome (image below). It's pretty much right below the gondola so you can watch that go up. They have plenty of parking, I never struggled to find a spot.

We arrived after office hours, to find Queenstown quite busy and interrupted with roadworks. The office manager responded to the phone number on the office door and appeared soon after. I explained that we needed a ground floor room with King bed if possible as my wife has health issues related to knees/hips and that stairs are a killer for her. He found 1 studio room and didn't hesitate when I asked if I could inspect before committing. The room looked fine and though not the most modern, was extremely well presented, clean with adequate facilities and space. He was happy to inform us of Queenstown's ongoing water issues. Tariff was on par with what we'd experienced in Twizel and Clyde the previous 2 nights. Bathroom was excellent. Adequate parking and close enough to CBD, but most people would need to drive there. Would definitely consider staying there again if ever in NZ again. Thank you for a great 1 night stay before our flight home!!…

Room was a good size with ankle space to spread out toiletries in the bathroom and wide surfaces in the room itself. These are critical for us when traveling! They do not habe a lift and there wasn't a first floor unit available so this made it challenging for me as I have a difficulty with climbing stairs. Property location was a little farther from town than would have been ideal but we made do. Both of our pickup spots for tours were a very short walk as well. For the price, if you are able-bodied, this is an above average property.

The BV is positioned in a wonderful spot, easy walk to the City, with amazing views (but where in the south island are the views not spectacular?) The room had everything you could need to be comfy - its quiet and the staff were amazing - our check in was seamless and I had reason to speak with reception a few times and they never let me down. There was a laundry and getting more coffee, bikkies whatever was not a problem - If I visited again, I would stay here again.
