This backpackers really made our winter stay in Queenstown very memorable. We stayed in one of the second-storey family rooms with fantastic views of the Remarkables. The room was always warm with comfy beds, plenty of storage space and a fridge. A few things stood out for us: very helpful and friendly staff (nothing was ever a problem), very clean bathrooms, clean kitchen with plenty of cutlery and crockery, free meal on Wednesday night, free bike hire (quality bikes!), spa and within walking distance to all major attractions in the town. I'd highly recommend this backpackers!
Came down for a little holiday to queenstown. Very affordable, i stayed 5 days and it cost me $180 for the whole time. Staff are very Friendly and are always there to help. The spa was amazing, and the kitchen was in great condition, i would recommend to bring your own cups, otherwise they tend to run out. Overall the experience i had the the Blacksheep was awesome, i would definitely come back. Thanks for your hospitality
We stayed here for 3 nights and had the best time. The staff were so kind and accomodating. All the guests were really respectful towards each other. Kitchen was clean and has everything you’d need for whatever you’re cooking. A bunch of gas stovetops and some ovens too. Bathrooms were really well maintained and cleaned. Cute lounge area with a bunch of movies and board games etc too. There’s also a cat that kinda just chills here and gets cuddles from whoever is around which was probably the highlight. Honestly 10/10 wonderful stay.
You won't find a better hostel in queenstown, clean facilities, great location, awesome staff, plenty of parking, privacy with the dorm beds, free bike hires and free home cooked meals on Wednesdays. 🤤 If your looking for long-term accommodation or just staying for a short time there's no better place to be. I've met some of the coolest people at blacksheep and made life long friends. It's so good you won't want to leave, so what are you waiting for? book now!
Went to book in. No carparks within 200 metres of the place, so parked illegally. Staff reasonably apologetic. Ample street parking in their conditions needs to be adjusted to read beggar all parks, more suited to walking customer's. Not impressed. Paid for room and booked elsewhere.
