Stayed 4 nights across New Year’s Eve and early Jan. Was very hard to find 2 bedroom accommodation for our dates and we are glad we chose autoline. Kids had their own bedroom with 2 separate beds as well as a bathroom leaving us plenty of space to relax in the evenings once they had gone to bed. Large balcony with excellent views of the remarkables and lake. Room serviced every day, modern decor and very clean. Easy walk into town even with the 2 kids which was super handy meaning we didn’t need to use the car for the short trip to town for meals. Highly recommend.

My reservation was for a “superior” suite booked through my trip organizer so it was a surprise when I found the room faced busy streets(noise) and cars could park right in front of the only window I had a view from (large sliding doors). The reception said it was thick glass and noise wouldn’t be bad. There wasn’t a comparable room for me to change to so I tried it. It was bearable so I stayed. The room has a small kitchen equipped for most purposes. Bathroom is all tile, shower has no separation except a hanging curtain. The unit is modern but not new or I’ll say “well used”. And it’s not large. In the morning two very large vehicles were parked in front of my unit. I could see nothing else. It didn’t feel right since I had no car so I asked the receptionist if she could ask for “my slot” not to be parked in. she said NO! Luckily the next couple nights no vehicles parked there and the vacancy sign kept lite. Noise as well as view could have become an issue. Location is fine, I walked to all I wanted to see, and the tourist grocery store! in Queenstown. Down the next street was a bus stop. Reception is not always manned but there is buzzer to call one on site if you need something. Both are from Brazil ! When the shuttle service called me at reception she brought the phone to me which was helpful.

I stayed at this motel having returned from the Humpridge track and was desperately in need of a coffee, bath, laundrette and television.
Auto line delivered and had a dinky little discrete laundrette that washed away all of Fiordlands lingering gifts.
It was reasonably priced with stunning scenery of the eyre mountains and lake whakatipu with a small verandah with chair and table

We spent two nights at Autoline. The Motel is nice and modern. The furniture looked new. The staff were friendly and helpful. We got free milk at check in. The Motel is about 15 minute walk from the town center, restaurants, a supermarket, and the jetty. We walked to the Jetty and took the lake cruise. We got our parking in the front of our room.

Great location with views off the lake and Remarkables from front balcony and a view off the Gondolas from the rear balcony.
Is also located on the main bus line so used busses to commute to all attractions and from Airport.
10 mins walk into town by frankton road and down the walkway.
The accommodation was well appointed small kitchen longe and a bedroom heat pump in room and lounge and under floor heating in bathroom.

I picked this motel because I knew the place was easy to get to on the corner of Dublin Street and the main road from Frankton. But when I got there, Dublin Street was blocked off by roadworks. I had to go a couple of blocks closer to town, cross a busy street, go up a hill, down another road, before I could turn into the roadworks area and rattle over a little bit of gravel to get into the hotel entrance. And I noticed that Queenstown was inundated with roadworks. Probably about a dozen motels could only be reached by various detours throughout the town. Having said all that, I liked the motel. I was in an en suite no-view studio which was quite nice because it had two long benches inside on which I could pile up my abundant clothes and bags. But the room was dark. I had to pull the curtains across and put the light on. The room was a few metres from the guest laundry and some stairs and people passed frequently. It was an extremely expensive room when lined up against accommodation in much of the rest of the country, but it was probably budget for Queenstown. There was a spa bath which I didn't use; it looked too deep. But there was a really good shower. I would probably stay again, but only for the location (if there was no roadworks). Please note, there are a couple of steps leading straight down once you open the unit's door.

Very clean and well set up motel a short walk from the middle of Queenstown. There's a view of the lake and lots of space to sit outside. Our unit had 2 enquite queen rooms and 2 singles in the lounge with a kitchen which was just big enough for us. It was warm and quiet, despite being so close to the main road.

Excellent location, good parking and good facilities if you are in town for some skiing and other adventure activies. Our 2 bedroom apartment had a huge lounge, dining area and well equipped kitchen. Good ski storage, drying room etc as well as on site laundry.

Great place to stay. Close to town centre, although like most places in Queenstown it is up a hill !! Staff were friendly and helpful and room was spacious and comfortable. Very modern bathroom which was fantastic apart from the fact that the shower leaked over the bathroom floor. Not a problem for us but the cleaning staff must have to deal with it. Overall we would definitely recommend.

Is the “basic double” room a crappy room? Nervous as to why I got such a good deal. 🤔

No they are all pretty good the rooms I would go back again. My greatest gripe was leaving my room wide open during housekeeping when I had expensive gear in the room.
