We had a week in Queenstown staying at this gorgeous property. Spectacular views, amazing service, cleanliness and just old fashion care. Nothing was to much to ask. Breakfast made to order at a time that suited us, with amazing fresh produce. Tours booked with ease and sound local advice given to assist us to have an amazing week in this beautiful city. We will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.

We love staying at this hotel when in Queenstown. Hosts are very accommodating, rooms are great, especially with either views or a terrace to enjoy apero before dinner. Breakfast is made to order and unbeatable, with great views from the dining room. Very relaxed environment and close to town.

Our family of four stayed in Lake View villa 2 over the Christmas period. We felt extremely well looked after by Sam and Paul and their friendly staff - and Cindy’s superb breakfasts were a real highlight. Best eggs Benedict with Salmon I think I have had - ever - and it is a dish I covet. The entire complex is thoughtfully laid out with attractive private and communal outdoor areas and wonderful views out over Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu. A very easy 5 minute walk down to the town centre with a slightly longer climb back up the hill to return! Sam and Paul put on lovely evening canapés and wine - offering guests a selection from various central Otago vineyards - we enjoyed Rabbit Range and Amisfield amongst others. As seasoned travellers themselves they are interesting and well informed hosts to converse with - and added to our overall lovely experience. Our bedrooms were superb with lovely beds and quality linen - and the bathrooms generous and well appointed. My daughters made good use of the baths! The living area of Villa 2 was stunning - a full size and well equipped kitchen and a lovely gas fireplace we made good use of with the weather turning unseasonably cold. The living area is generously sized and took three families comfortably for our Christmas Day festivities. If you want a special experience this is accommodation we’d highly recommend - winter or summer.

Our family stay with our 22 year old son in Queenstown was made all the more enjoyable by staying at this fantastic boutique hotel. We had adjoining rooms which worked out fantastically. We enjoyed very warm hospitality, ample space, superb views and outlooks and clean, modern and spacious rooms. The.homemade breakfasts and early evening get togethers added a special touch with warm fires and lots of great reading material lying about. Having parking also helped immensely. The hosts and all the team were extremely friendly and had a depth of local knowledge which helped us plan our trip and days so we got the most out of Queenstown and the region. A must stay in our opinion and we look forward to going back to stay.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a lovely spacious room with entry from the main hallway plus separate doors onto the patio. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Our hosts (and their staff) were outstanding. Very friendly and exceedingly helpful. Their wine tasting at 5:30 each night is a fantastic idea. Not only did we get to sample delicious canapés and local wines, it was an opportunity to meet other guests. I've not known this before and it is wonderful to meet guests and swap stories - a wonderful experience. It also helps that the hosts are very knowledgeable on and proud of local food and wine. Then there's the breakfast !! Everything is homemade and all cooked to order. They even make their own compote, muesli etc (the homemade "Nutella" is outstanding). Again nothing too much trouble and eating a gorgeous breakfast with stunning views of the lake is engrained in our memories for life. Easily the best breakfasts during our 3.5 weeks in New Zealand. Would love to return to Queenstown again and stay at Queenstown House. Just one word of warning - it is a steep hill from the town centre. We didn't mind but could put some people off.
