Matakauri has the quality trademarks we have come to expect from the Robertson Lodges. Difficult to compare with Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers - and probably not necessary as they are all superb.
We had a deluxe suite which had fabulous views across Lake Wakatipu....More
First stop of our Honey Moon was the Matakauri Lodge and it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to.

What can I say ! The deluxe suites are out of this world , luxurious and plush , views of lakes and mountains from everywhere !
