Scenic Suites Queenstown has one of the most desirable locations for Queenstown hotels. It’s just five minutes walk to the bustling town centre, yet the hotel’s elevated position gives commanding views over Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps. Combined with the convenience and quality of four-star apartment style accommodation, it’s hard to go past Scenic Suites Queenstown.

My wife and I stayed for3 nights recently on our Southern Tiki Tour. This property is a cross between an apartment and a hotel. The native plants around the walkways give it an exotic feel and breaks up the traffic noise and the coldness of the concrete construction. The access to the reception/bar/restaurant is a little unorthodox but perfectly functional. The staff were all friendly and keen to help if a little lacking in skills. The buffet breakfast was included which(along with the free carparking) made the whole stay GREAT value. The location is superb, an easy walk from QT central. Other little things like the free laundry and and the easy access to our room without having to go through reception were the cream on top. This is very good accommodation and unless you have the extra cash to stay at The Spire, Sofitel or Eichardts can't be touched in the Queenstown township.

We just stayed here for 3 nights in a lovely one bedroom apartment on the top floor The unit was great with everything you could possibly need Very handy to town which is just a 5 minute walk Breakfast was also everything you could want Our only negative was the access from the car park to you unit which is up and down ramps to access the lifts and also to get to reception you are in and out of different buildings so if you have heavy luggage it is difficult
