Lomond Lodge is privately owned and operated motel which has 10 studio rooms and 2 family apartments. Located in the "heart" of Queenstown, 100 metres from the town centre and 150 metres to the base of the gondola, we offer quiet, comfortable, quality accommodation to suit all budgets. Local staff and Qualmark rated 4 star, with a silver environmental award. We offer a complimentary tour booking service and the ski shuttles operate from the end of the road. Ski store/dry room, Terraced garden , flatscreen TV's, kitchenette, and unlimited complimentary WiFi per day. Parking is $15 per day to be booked at reservation. Our lake view rooms with balcony have stunning views out over the Remarkables mountains and the lake. Garden studios have lovely views up to the gondola. Outrageously overpriced for what you get. If you love lots of signs about rules then this is the place for you. Nobody there after 4pm and a $150 call-out fee. Despite emailing them numerous times with queries I never got a single reply. This is a mediocre noisy and unpleasant place to stay. And I have no doubt that they will reply to this telling me that I’m the problem. Just wait and see! There are SO MANY better places to stay and either cheaper or with a far better location. Avoid at all costs.

We had a lovely view of the lake and mountains with all the amenities needed. Every detail was carefully considered and covered. They thought of things I didn't even realize that I needed! Also, very helpfully, there is a pay self washer/dryer which was a lifesaver. Normal size washer/dryer so we were able to wash a lot of our clothes. Very reasonably priced compared to other places in the area and conveniently located.

With no car, this was a perfect location for us - a street back from the busy, bustling town, it was quiet. We were in a unit at the rear of the property, trading views for a sunny, sheltered, spacious, shared courtyard with picnic tables. Our unit was modern, with a large comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. There was a continual, annoyong 'knocking' sound coming from somewhere adjoining the bathroom (Unit 5) - a drier perhaps? This went late one night. The reception staff were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble.

This is the second time staying at this location. The location itself is great, perfect views, easy access to town and other tourist destinations. Parking is limited, but an option available across the road at an underground car park. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed is super comfortable. Laundry facilities are available on-site for a reasonable fee which is handy. Customer service was friendly.

Nice room with a comfortable bed, TV plus a good shower and amenities. The office/reception only open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm so I can’t comment on the owners or staff as I never met them although communications ahead of my trip were informative and helpful. The view from 1st floor is a rather daggy hoarding and car park although the amazing mountains can be seen from there I wouldn’t really call it Lake View (glimpses could be seen). Very convenient for the town cafes and shops, all within a 5-10 minute walk.

Great place to stay. Close to town. Facilities are spotless, comfortable beds & a nice view. We arrived outside office hours, Lauren had waited for us, she came outside to greet us, helped with our bags & explained how every thing worked in our room. She is lovely, friendly & very efficient. If the website doesn't mention there are alot of stairs, not sure if there's a lift.

Comfortable studio apartment close to centre of Queenstown with stunning views over the lake and Remarkables. Warm room. Bathroom small but functional. Only minor complaints are hairs on floor of bathroom on arrival and noise from people above early in morning.
