The lap of luxury and comfort. This is not stark minimalist. This is a homely place to rest. The decor is refined, comfortable, but luxurious. Seating that you sink into, and relax whilst enjoying the amazing 180 degree views up and down Lake Wakatipu. Or peruse through one of the many beautiful books on so many different topics. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. And the treats that are there on arrival, and seem to multiply every time you go out!

Property's Favourite Review
I’m in a dilemma. Do I tell everyone how easy it was to arrange our booking with Ingrid. How helpful she was and assisted with suggestions for our trip. How she put us onto Camille the awesome home visit massage that my wife absolutely loved. How modern, clean and immaculate our suite was. How homely and warm it felt each morning and evening when we returned from our days activities. Do I tell everyone how well appointed it is and that all our breakfast needs were met. Amongst the cereal, bread and bagels, wonderful banana bread and fruit, milk and juice there were even eggs if you wanted to cook them up. Everything is there if you want to bring in a few extras of your own to cook. And a lovely surprise left for my wife. It was her birthday. We were in the Milford Suite. Do I tell everyone what an outstanding view of the mountains and lake we had with the more than 180 degree view. I even ventured out into the private deck in the cold for a while, it was that captivating. Do I tell everyone how tucked away and quiet this place is. Do I tell everyone how close to town it is. That you can walk, but we drove only because we started our days early and we’re Aucklanders not used to the hearty southern temperatures. Or do I not tell anyone this and keep this hidden gem for future visits and those already in the know? To us this beat the run of the mill hotels hands down. Very personalised with the obvious personal touch. Go to Stay of Queenstown. You won’t be disappointed.

What a dilemma Brian! Yes, please share the love. We enjoyed hosting you and loved that you and your wife chose to celebrate her birthday here. You can guarantee no matter how many guests we have on site we will always put in the extra touches and take care of you and your wife Brian and the great thing is - the mountains and lakes aren't going anywhere either. The team here at Stay and the views look forward to looking after you on your return. Kindest, Ingrid

This was my second stay here and it did not disappoint. I was travelling with my husband (who was in Queenstown for work) and loved staying in the stunning Tekapo suite. The decor and view are equally amazing, and being (almost) Winter we LOVED the fireplace. As a vegan I was thoroughly looked after in regards to breakfast and snacks. This place really feels like our home in Queenstown and I know we'll be back again.

I had the fortunate experience of being able to stay at the Tekapo suite at Stay of Queenstown for 5 nights. It was absolutely perfect. It truly felt like a home though with a the amenities and comforts of staying at a hotel. I was given a code to assess my key and was welcomed in to a luxuriously designed room with a comfortable couch and kitchen table to a view beyond that was breathtaking. A fireplace with soft throws would be perfect to sit in front of in winter. The kitchen was sparkling clean with everything that would be needed to make a 3 course meal. It was such a relief to open the refrigerator and have enough supplies for breakfast/snack to last 3 days when I arrived so that I didn't have to worry about getting to a supermarket but instead was able to instantly unwind for the start of my vacation. Plus the food was of high quality and tasty. The room was so spacious that my family of four had plenty of room. Through an internal side door I went through to the 2 spacious bedrooms and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and made immaculately with crisp sheets, and a warm blanket. Once again the floor to ceiling windows made it a dream to wake up to the stunning view. However thick blackout curtains were able to make the master room dark without ambient light. The bathroom was stocked plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. All which smelled heavenly. A washer and dryer and a clothes line was inside the suite perfect to be able to refresh my clothes if I needed. There was a garden out in front of the suite with a large 4-6 person table perfect for meals taken outside, a yard below, a designated smoking area so that you can smoke but aren't bothered by it if you don't, and a bbq area with a large 8-10 person table if you so wished to use. I was worried about how far from town so had rented a car as I had little children with me and I found it was unnecessary as the true 10 minute walk to town was easy and enjoyable even by the youngest at 4 years old as you have the choice to walk along the flat main road or down to the beautiful lake front, both ways lead you to be able to wander through the Queenstown gardens and directly to the park and the town beyond. Plus with parking so desirable in town it is faster to walk then to drive and search for a park and usually closer too.

We stayed for 4 nights on the Routeburn Suite and absolutely loved our time here. The suite is very clean, spacious and lovingly decorated. Reflects incredible attention to detail. Food provided was fantastic and service was outstanding. Ingrid was very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed or wanted and we ended up spending more time in the suite than we usually do when travelling. It was so nice we just wanted to stay.
