I was very disappointed in our stay. Down stairs didn't have a view. This place had permanent residence who had their rubbish outside the units. The noise from the resident upstairs was terrible. This place needs major upkeep and repairs outside, dangerous uneven tiles and concrete. Repairs were being done while we were there but it should have been closed while these were being done. There is no reception or Manager on site to speak to. We won't be back

Clean and functional, close to town. Good wifi.
No staff on site and only communication by e-mail. Terrible service, e-mails ignored or not replied to resulting in overcharging. Would not recommend stayign here.

We arrived to a note saying there had been a leak. There were wet towels on the floor as an attempt to dry the floor. The entire width of the room from wall to wall between the bed and the kitchen area was soaked that it immediately drenched my socks. The property expected us to stay in the room with no guarantee the leak would be fixed in coming days. They turned the water off so in order to shower or use the tap, we had to exit the room and turn some taps outside.
As staying in a room with damp is harmful to someone's health, we needed to move. One would expect a refund as the room was far from useable.
Since the owner was not in the country, we have only received ONE email regarding a refund. Thus was mid February. We are still yet to hear from them.
Do not book if you value customer service if something unforeseeable happens. The whole experience has been an absolute disgrace.

Totally unreliable and not worth the risk. After booking months in advance, and confirming our stay within the last couple of days, we have just been notified that our reservation for tonight was cancelled 3 hours before check in. We're now likely sleeping in our car tonight as there is no availability anywhere in Queenstown this weekend.
I see from other reviews that we are not the first people with this issue here! Do not book this place!!!

Apartment was double booked - had booked and paid a month in advance via Air B&B. On arrival a guest was already there and was told nothing could be done to help. Had to find hotel at 9.30pm and paid more than double cost of apartment. Received refund from Air B&B but when contacting owner for reimbursement of the difference were forced to pay for a hotel she just stopped replying. Do not book here

If I could give this place minus stars, I would. They canceled my accommodation on the morning that my friends and I were due to arrive and resold it. Due to my card payment not going through properly, which they didn't tell me about. They messaged me in the middle of the night to ask whether I still wanted the booking, to then NOT wait for a reply... and message me again 20 mins later to say that they have canceled my booking and already resold the room. Leaving me with absolutely nowhere to go during Valentines weekend when queenstown accommodation is completely booked up. I've never in my life had this happen to me by any accommodation. Now we're stuck with literally no where to stay tonight. Absolutely disgusting way to treat anyone.
I wish I'd read the reviews first, as there are a few that have had this happen to them, in that this place has canceled their room on the day that they were due to arrive.
Do yourself a favor and book a reliable place to stay, NOT this one.

Terrible booking! Upon arrival there had been a flood in our room. I understand that this was not anyones fault but the floors were soaking wet and the water had been turned off. Therefore, it was not a room we were able to stay in. The manager of the property was unable to get anyone to come and fix the leak so it was likely to be two days before it was fixed and even then the floor would still be soaking wet. We had to spend more money to stay elsewhere as the manager of the property had no alternative and could not contact the owner. I have since had one email from the owner and they are now ignoring both myself and booking.com. This is unacceptable! DO NOT STAY HERE. The photos attached show the wetness of the floor after a towel change and it had been moped up. There was a damp smell to the room and would've been unhealthy to stay there, especially for the 3 nights that we had booked!

Good location, close to town, and very clean and with good heating. The one downside is that the walls are too thin and you can hear your neighbours. We were in a downstairs room and were woken by the people in room above us walking around - could hear their footsteps very loudly. Apart from this, we enjoyed it. We noted they do have recycling bins outside (you have to clear your own rubbish) which is surprising.

We arrived to stay a few days. The unit was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable beds with crisp clean sheets. a five minute walk into town; warm, smart TV, washing machine and everything you need for a few days stay and welcoming when you have had a busy day. Close enough to pick up a pizza or burger and it will still be warm......

I was a little hesitant in choosing this place due to the lack of review from tripadvisor. I did anyway due to its excellent value ($95 per night). I was not disappointed.
First, the location is excellent. Just a few minutes walk to town center. Close to the lake (you can probably get lake view from 2nd floor units, but we stayed on the 1st floor).
Each unit has a functional kitchen and washing machine. Everything you will need is there. All for a price that cannot be beaten in Queenstown. Highly recommended if you are a budget conscience traveller.
