Detailed Reviews
Although we've been to Queenstown a number of times, this was the first time at top 10 Queenstown. As all travellers know - Queenstown can be a bit pricey so we were pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive the campsite was but how good the facilities were (we were in campervan so had a powered site).
The campground is fairly compact so there's a limited number of campervan sites (the site is basically divided into cabins and accomodation units on the left when you drive in, and powered sites or the right). Its on the road from Arrow town to Queenstown and a few kms out of town.
There's 2 sets of facilities for campervans - a large kitchen/ tv room plus excellent showers and loos next to reception, plus a smaller set of loos and showers at the far end where the campervans are (and thank goodness they're there too otherwise it would be a long walk to the main building during winter). Both the main and smaller facilities are very new, well laid out, with unlimited hot water (yay)!
In addition to the above there's also a big TV "movie" room and a bookable spa room (although this was closed at the time we were there due to covid level 2 requirements).
Given the compact nature of the site and its great value for money (and being Queenstown), booking in advance is advisable otherwise you might be disappointed. Thankfully the staff are very friendly and helpful (we booked our accomodation over the phone while driving down the westcoast). We will definitely be returning.

From the moment I arrived the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I wanted to add an extra night to my stay and they did that simply, even arranging so that I didn't have to move site after two nights.
I stayed 3 nights on a powered site with my campervan. The van area has a small toilet/shower block - it was very clean and modern and the showers were very good and hot. I am an early riser so had no problem getting access to them.
The kitchen area is big with plenty of space to eat both inside and out. I used the laundry area to wash my clothes - it was $4 a load using coin operated machines.
The park itself is walking distance from the Shotover Jet (which I would also recommend) and the Onsen spa (again another one to do).
The great thing is the free shuttle service into and out of town. You need to book a space with reception but I used it everyday and it saved me a lot in taxi/ubers.

This is a great location I feel as it is just a short drive away from the hustle bustle of the township and also practically a neighbour of the awesome Shot-Over Jet Boat. It is a well equipped Park with beautifully presented facilities. We stayed in a lovely self contained Unit which was warm and comfortable. They have even gone to the expense and effort to install a shower dome which I thought was brilliant as it reduced the steam to pretty much zilch. The staff are extremely friendly and there is an awesome play area for the youngins. Thoroughly recommend this Park for your Queenstown visit!!

, but they provide a free coach which you must book prior. Same with the spa, we were too slow and it closes too early. The reception closes early too so take change with you if you want to use the laundry facilities after hours. Overall nice place!

One of the best ‘Top 10’ sites we stayed at. It was a small campground but well maintained and very relaxing and scenic in the mountains. There is a free shuttle service which you book at reception which takes you to Queenstown and back and runs frequently. The showers and toilets were very clean, showers are free.
Good WiFi - 1gb per day
Doesn’t feel crowded even when pitches are full.
Large communal area with lots of tables and sofas. Plenty of sinks and stoves, fridges etc.
Didn’t use laundry so unsure on that.
We would definitely stay here again!

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment, which was an amazing cabin. It had 2 large bedrooms each with a clean, modern and spacious ensuite. The bedrooms had a queen bed & bunks, so would be great if you had 2 families. Beds very comfy. Cabin had air-conditioning (which we needed as it was hot weather), a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area & lounge area. It was very modern, and exceptionally well equipped. The kitchen had everything you could need. Clean, modern, very high standard for a holiday park.
The location is just outside of Queenstown, at Arthurs point, which is about a 20 minute drive out. You drive out towards the Shotover Jet, and its just passed that. The park is a lovely setting. You can hear slight noise from the road behind the park, but not enough to be a nuisance.
I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It was a lovely clean park with a great kids play area. The kitchen area was very big and open. The only area we struggled with was being in a camper van and having to share 2 showers near us with 15 other campers. There were more showers and toilets located in the centre but with small kids it was a longer walk (yes being lazy). But this is a lovely stay

Thank you for the great feedback Sarah! Yes the kids love the playground area and our fun bikes! We try and cater to all guests throughout the park having bathrooms at either end and the main facility block in the middle. These can get busy at times. Nice and Clean. Needs Kitchen Utensils and a pool. Carts should be included for kids. Disposable hand towels should be in the kitchen and Salt and Pepper. A plug near the tents to blow up beds would of been helpful. Since powered tent sites arent available. Friendly staff!

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We have a hot tub on site which is very popular. We do provide hand towels, however these may have been out of stock at the time of your stay, apologies for this. We hire out a kitchen cupboard for our guests which include everything you would need to cook and eat a meal. These cost a small fee as well as a bond which is returned at the end of use. When we supplied utensils to our guests these were either stolen or left for our team to clean. We really appreciate your comments and always take on board the feedback receive to constantly improve. We are glad you had an enjoyable stay 🙂

The best service in our 4 years travelling. The cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms were a highlight .We were made to feel very special and staff were always around should you need them. The shuttle service into town and the unlimited WiFi for club members are a great advantage. Sorry we could not use the hot pool during our 3 day stay as it was to hot (25 for all three days) Could not fault this park.

We, family of four, were very happy with what we got during our stay. Staff were so nice, non intrusive, cared about our well being all the time we were there (Mostly nights). The common kitchen was very large with some tv's and cosy chairs therefore it was only a little congested during peak time (tolerable). Common bathrooms were cleaned several times, so that they were pleasant any time we used them.

The campsite offer a free regular shuttle to Queenstown. Otherwise I think it's a $nz25 taxi ride
At Queenstown TOP 10 we have stunning mountain views on offer and at the moment they have a sprinkling of snow.
It is nestled amongst the surrounding mountains. So you see them all around. Very nice. Just a few hundred metres down the road is the shot over jet river/canyon which is lovely too. No lake views from here, as it's out of Queenstown township 10 minutes drive. We liked being out of town a little.
You can't see Queenstown, but can see the surrounding mountains.
Hi Joan. Thank you for your enquiry. The more in advance you book the more likely you are to get the type of accommodation you want & for the dates you want. NZ & Australian school holidays fall in July & the ski fields will also be open, so I would suggest booking as soon as you know the dates you wish to stay. Regards Jeanette
