We just love this hotel and have stayed a few times now. Just a short walk from town - about 5 to 10 minutes depending on your walking speed - so nice and quiet. The lake room views give you a fantastic view across the lake and mountains, and this time we even got upgraded to Remarkables room on the top floor of the hotel (10th floor) where the views were even more spectacular. Rooms are contemporary with funky little touches in the art work and selection for the minibar. Your room will have everything you need - comfy bed, decent sized tv, coffee and tea napkin utensils, a fridge and a nice big bathtub. Staff were friendly and efficient too so a very nice stay overall. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.
We had the best time - our room was lovely and the hotel location was fabulous - easy walk into the main centre. We were also upgraded to a better room - at no extra cost. It was our anniversary and QT also left us a personalised note and bottle of wine in our room. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond. I can't recommend highly enough.
What a wonderful stay at your home away from home... Service was fantastic . Location excellent & best of all room was spacious cosy & super contemporary.. was an absolute joy .. cannot wait to return
We had a great time staying at QT. Queenstown is always a great place to be and QT is in a great spot with views across the lake but 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. The styling of the hotel is spot on the rooms are clean and the staff helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend. Cheers, Neil and Kaye
What a great hotel! The location is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful, the service was great. The ladies on the front desk were absolutely wonderful - super friendly and helpful. They were genuinely warm and welcoming and made me feel like a valued customer. The beds and pillows were wonderfully comfortable and the robes (jersey knit - very cosy) and slippers were excellent. The extensive selection of bathroom products were also really nice and the bathtub is super deep. I loved the room decor and layout, and the small balcony was nice to open up for some fresh air and spectacular views. I had a buffet breakfast included in my rate and that was delicious and comprehensive. Lots of lovely options (including flavoured milk and divine pastries). The female staff in the restaurant were unfortunately not as welcoming as the front desk which was a little disappointing but the food made up for it. It’s worth making clear that some parts of the QT are shared with the Rydges hotel - including the restaurant and bar. The pool was part of the reason I booked the QT and it was probably the worst part of the hotel’s offering. It’s small and uninviting, and is directly visible from the hotel conference rooms (the windows look straight onto it which would be off putting if you were in the pool while a bunch of business people were watching you). Some of the Rydges older rooms also look onto the pool. If the pool is your draw card, then perhaps consider something else. The access provided via the Rydges onto the main road is really handy, as is the bus stop directly outside the Rydges hotel. I used it to bus to Frankton (markets on Saturday) $4. I didn’t use it to get to the town as that’s only a 5-10 min walk depending on your pace.…
