We stayed 3 people in a studio. Of course it was not very big but we where very happy with what we got for that price! Clean, fresh, well planned, well equiped kitchen, much storage for clothes, very friendly owners and rooms service people, we could put our car on the parking a while earlier before actual check in-time, the pool was quite warm and well kept. Perfect just a little bit outside of the center, so it was a calmer area but still only 3 minutes walk. Beware it is steaply uphill from the city center though, nothing for weak people!!
Even though we where there for new years and had the room closest to the big road there was no problem with too much sounds if we shut the doors and windows.

Stayed here for two nights during a very busy school holiday weekend in the town.

Rooms are compact but there’s a large renovated bathroom and great kitchenette with everything you need. Very warm during cold winter weekend and very comfortable beds. Good wifi, tv etc.

Plenty of easy parking. On the main road in but quiet because of dbl glazing. Very close to town, easy walking up small hill. Very convenient.

Queenstown is expensive but this is good value, especially being self contained and such a great location too. Thank you to the friendly hosts for having us.

The comfortable room has everything you need, tv with a myriad of channels incl sky and movies, plentiful kitchen facilities, you won't want for anything. A swimming pool and a spa are on-site. WiFi is fast. Our room had a spacious new bathroom with amenities. You can easily walk downhill to the city centre but the walk back up could be difficult for the elderly. Parking on-site. Most importantly the hosts Wayne and Rose are very nice people who went out of their way to assist us and make our stay enjoyable, it was most appreciated. So a big thank you to two people who really look after their guests. I will likely not be back in queenstown but when you go there do stay at Four Seasons.

We stayed here three nights while visiting Queenstown. The location is on a busy street, so it may be a bit noisy, but it is so close to everything Queenstown has to offer. Walking within 10 minutes, we were downtown, to the wonderful gardens, to the gondola, to a place to rent bikes, take a boat trip—everything.
Rooms all had good views, big, with complete kitchen equipment. They were very clean and up to date.

If you are on a budget this motel would suffice. If you are able, spend a little more to stay elsewhere.

I was pretty horrified by the amount of pink mould in the shower. Dirty finger prints on the bathroom door. Poor water pressure. Toilet would not flush properly / fully. Uncomfortable and uneven beds. Did not like the linen, made us very sweaty. The bedroom door did not open fully, it would bang into the bed which became very irritating. No daily service. No cleaning service. Pool was shut. Spa was shut. 1GB of internet a day which was very slow and often dropped out ultimately making it unusable. One very old and dilapidated chair outside each unit. If someone was sitting in one it would be difficult to get passed them without them moving their legs or getting up to let you pass. Communal laundry for $4 per wash and $2 for detergent.

Location was very good but next time we will stay across the road at the Scenic Suites or The Glebe to have more space, better facilities with the same great location.

I'm sorry but the Four Seasons was not for us.

Last week, we stayed in a family apartment (room 4) which was smaller than expected, except for the huge bathroom. Single beds adjacent to TV not ideal. Tiny triangular room with little space around double bed and minimal ventilation. Reasonably comfortable but room did not have air-conditioning! However, on our return a few days later we had the upstairs end-apartment (room 8) which was much better with improved layout. Great views of town and mountain. TV room separate from bedrooms. Unfortunately the pool and spa were not in use due to maintenance. Very friendly management and staff.

Nice and central location. Warm, clean and everything we needed. Even being on a busy street, traffic noise was not an issue. We stayed two nights and would come back. Never had an issue with finding a carpark here either even when returning later in the day.

For the rate, this motel was spot on for location. Left our rental car at the car park and we walked to the lakefront in 10 minutes or so. Clean, quiet, comfortable and Wayne and Rose, the owners were helpful. Not-so-good was the real lack of wardrobe space to hang our jackets and clothes.

I traveled with a friend and we found the owners unfriendly and reluctantly helpful. They appeared to be over the experience of running a motel. On the positive side the room was clean, but because it is on a main street, it was noisy. To be expected. It is also a comfortable walking distance to town.

The host was incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Assisted with securing our bikes, cracked the WiFi problems, drove us downtown to meet with family.
The motel unit was warm, cosy and welcoming.
Absolutely excellent! Highly recommended.
