Detailed Reviews
We spent a week in one bedroom private balcony unit which was very clean, spacious, warm and well equipped (including cooking facilities) with a lovely view and the afternoon sun just streamed in. The bed was really comfortable and warm, great for a mid winter stay. The location being walking distance to town, and so close to supermarkets if wanting to prepare your own meal, is ideal. Would definitely recommend.
A note for anyone with mobility problems - the lower level units would be more suitable as it’s a steepish stairway to access these ones, but good exercise 😘

Thanks for the review we really appreciate you taking the time out and we're glad that you enjoyed your stay with us in our recently refurbished rooms! On the note that you have left the top level is a level walk with no stairs from the car park so probably more suitable to anyone that does have mobility issues as they would probably use their car. Thanks :-) Regards, Lyndon

I've stayed at Abba Court for the last 8 weeks while we were in lockdown. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, kitchens have everything you could need to cook a meal, and it's in a great location. Two grocery stores are across the street. The CBD is a few minutes walk away. There are numerous parks and trails within walking distance. You get a great view of the hills and trees. The employees are all friendly and work hard to keep the place tidy and beautiful.
Lyndon has been incredibly kind and helpful during the lockdown. I wasn't sure where to go when level 4 was announced as I was on working holiday visa and traveling in my car with my dog. They let me stay at an affordable price and often checked up to see how I was doing and how my family overseas was doing during the pandemic.

With so many accommodation options available in beautiful Queenstown, you could spend hours pouring over booking sites for deals and the right location. Abba Court caught our eye as it was just far enough out of town to provide a quieter spot, yet was within walking distance to most eateries and other local attractions. Our host Lyndon was so approachable and friendly and offered us great advice on local places to eat at and visit. We aren't dog owners but it was also great to see how the motel accommodates four-legged family members too. Our mountain view apartment was well appointed and really comfortable. Proximity to the upper car park was also great. Thanks Lyndon and team, we will be back!

I have nothing but praise for this motel which I’m my opinion can very well compete with many of the ‘ big boys’ in town.
Walking distance from the centre I had the pleasure of staying here for several weeks in a balcony 1 bedroom unit which was well appointed including a kitchenette which included a microwave / cooking facilities and a full sized fridge leaving me wanting for nothing .
Pots and pans cutlery plates etc were all provided .
Bedroom was spacious and well appointed .
Groceries can by bought at two supermarkets directly across the street.
The bathroom had an excellent shower with great water pressure and immediate hot water .
The host was very helpful and informative .
The fact that this motel is dog friendly was such a surprise and suited us perfectly .
The owner being a dog owner himself is indeed very understanding as regards guests with their pets ….
Parking was available onsite right next to the units .
A small garden with play facilities is available for kids under supervision and also provides a place for pets to stretch their legs …..
It was a pleasure to stay and I will definitely be back .

The drive in front of the office is steep and tight but you actually park further up the hill on the road behind the ABBA Court which was ample for us and we had a big SUV! There’s a supermarket opposite and a garage just up the road. It’s 10/15 minute walk to the centre which was not difficult and depends on how fast you walk. It’s easy to find , set back a small distance off the main road. The room I had had a separate bedroom which was large enough, a kitchenette , a balcony which looks onto the green hillside and you can see the gondolas going up and down. There was no view of the lake and even if the leaves were not on the trees next to the motel you would only get a glimpse of the lake or just see a bit of blue water in the distance. The motel is only slightly elevated but to clarify it is not high up the back of Queenstown. I thought the accommodation space was good and spacious and the quality was good.

Stayed here with our 6 month old doggo Kiwi, who absolutely loved her visit. Stayed in a room with a balcony which was perfect to enjoy a drink at night time. Owner was very accommodating, and the unit had very modern fixtures/fittings with great amenities. 5 min walk into Queenstown centre by cutting across the sports fields. Loved the stay and will be back on our next visit, thanks!!!

We had the budget room. It had a full kitchen and a small area, with a sofa table and chairs separated from the bed area. The motel is just across the road from a Fresh Choice supermarket and 10 mins walk to the town area. It was comfortable and clean.

We had a great time staying here. The room was a lot higher standard than we were expecting considering it is a pet friendly place. Everything was high quality and the motel itself was in close proximity to town. We had extra beds in our room which would be amazing for a larger family trip, the kitchen was also equipped with everything we would have needed for cooking.

I recently stayed for 3 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment and really enjoyed my stay. I felt welcomed from the start, the location was just a few minutes walk from town and my room was very clean and had everything I needed. It represented great value for money and I would highly recommend it as an excellent choice when deciding where to stay in Queenstown.

I am just finishing off my 6 night stay at Abba Court, I can confirm that my friend (18yrs) and I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are exactly as depicted and the facilities available within the room catered for all our needs throughout our stay. Beds were very comfortable, the tv has most streaming forms e.g., Netflix. Out room had a beautiful view of the gondola and the mountains. Noise is very minimal and was not disruptive at all. Bathroom is lovely, towels were changed every three days for longer visits, and the living space is nice and open. The heater and heated towel rack was also a much appreciated addition in this cold weather. Its location is a perfect walking distance to the city centre (10min) with nice flat terrain, and the motel is also very close to the local supermarket, FreshChoice. Lyndon was very kind to us and quick to respond to any inquiries, would definitely recommend this accommodation to keen travellers.
